FOTD #10.

Hello everyone,
Ah it feels like a long long time since I last blogged, it was only Monday, but this week has seriously messed with my sense of time ahah! Anyway, I've not done an FOTD in rather a long time, so after having a play with my makeup the other day, I though i'd share it with you lovely lot. Two things though; no idea what my hair is doing in any of these pictures, and excuse the break out I have going on.

So basically, with this look, I was working around the gorgeous MAC eyeshadow Fig- going for a slighly unseasonable purple theme. It is the lovelies plumy purple shade and I love the way it turned out! I think it really brings out my eyes and is perfectly dramatic.

Products used;

I'll talk you through how I created this look. I began by smoothing the Rimmel Fix and Perfect primer all over my face. I then swiped the Seventeen Phwoarr paint under my eyes and over my blemishes. Next step was to dot my Rimmel Match perfection foundation onto my face and then blend  in using my trusty Real Techniques Expert face brush. Onto contouring, I used the Bourjois bronzing primer to define my cheekbones, and also over my temples and across my jaw line. I then swept my favourite Collection Shimmer shades (which isn't actually shimmery at all) over my cheeks. I then took MAC soft and Gentle over the high points of my face. To keep thing matte I dusted Maybellines Fit me! powder all over.

So onto my eyes; I fist took my sample of the original Urban Decay Primer potion all over my lids to create a base. Next I took MAC Fig all over my lids, working to build up the colour. Then I buffed the shade Regal from the Sleek Au naturel palette into my crease and the outer corners. Next I used a little bit of Blackheart from my Naked3 palette to line my eyes and wing them out slightly. I finished with a generous flick of the Maybelline Rocket volume mascara on my top and bottom lashes.  I forgeot to photograph the products (doh!) but I used the MUA brow palette and Maybelline Brow drama to do my eyebrows.

On the lips I used my Perrie lipstick from the Collection Little Mix range, and added a little bit of Rimmel's Dark night water- opps! on top.

I'm definitely going to be sporting this look in the evening sometime, it was really nice having time to play about with my makeup, not having to do it in ten minutes flat before rushing into the car!

What do you think of this look? Have you been getting creative with your makeup lately?

Inspo no.2.

Hello everyone,
After my last inspiration post went down well (who doesn't love a page full of pretty pictures?) I thought I'd do another since I enjoy scrolling through Pinterest so much (read: too much.)

{All images from Pinterest}

Now I know that I am after a black floppy hat/over-sized fedora, but this post just makes me look like an obsessive, I didn't even realize how many of these images featured a hat! Also shoes, all I want in life at the moment seems to be in the form of footwear. I'm sure that means something. I can never get over how stunnign Audrey Hepburn was. I have major brow envy now too.

What's been inspiring you lately?

Don't you be wasting all your money on syrup and honey.

OOTD #49

Hi my lovelies, it's so nice to be able to sit down and blog for a bit!
I'm sure you're aware that I am in the middle of all my exams, they have all gone alright so far, although they haven't really felt that real or particularity final if you know what I mean? If you've been slogging away too I hope yours are  going well!

Anyway, this is what I wore today for a little trip to Olney to adjust my prom dress (which will hopefully now fit like a glove), have a spot of lunch and potter about a (very) little vintage fair- a welcome break form revision I'm sure you'll agree. Also, how pretty is all the blossom on the floor in these pictures?

Shirt- H&M
Locket- gift
Jeans- Topshop (here)
Watch- Olivia Burton (here)
Rings- vintage
Socks- Accessorize (gift)
Boots- Topshop (here)

I wore my gorgeous locket today, I thought it sat perfectly with my shirt un-buttoned (excuse the goosebumps going on here.)

I picked up both of these rings at aforementioned vintage fair (only £3 each!) I love the simplicity of the gold one and I couldn't resist the adorable pressed flower on burgundy.

I wore my favourite Chelsea boots, they are seriously comfy and go with what ever you want to throw at them.

I absolutely love this shirt, it's so versatile and I wear it every season, I love the romantics/pirate feel about it!

What have you been up to lately? What do you think of this outfit?

Hi my loves,
I hope you've had a good week, mines been the start of all my exams; stressed is not the word!
This is what I wore on a recent day trip to Bath with my family. I am obsessed with this co-ord set (I know it looks like a dress in these pictures, but trust me it's a skirt and a top!)  and I know I'm going to get so much wear out of them.

Jacket- ASOS
Top - New look
Skirt- New look
Sandals- New look (here
Ring- Pandora
Watch- Olivia Burton (here)

One thing that really drew me to this set is the print, I love the colours and palm print has been everywhere lately. New look have had some gorgeous pieces in at the moment as well! I annoyingly couldn't find this set online, but it might still be in stores.

I'm wearing a maybeliine polish in Coral Craze and is is such a lovely bright colour, it lasts my week long chip test too!

Another recent New look purchase was these cleated sandals. Ever since I read this post on Becca rose's lovely blog, I knew I needed a pair! I have to say they are super comfortable and literally go with everything.

My watch was on as always, god I love it!

Above is a sleepy Alice; tired from a long day of food, charity shopping and laughing is the best tried to be though!

What have you been up to lately? What do you think of this outfit?
