Hi everyone,
Ellie from Little Vintage Camera is in the process of setting up a blogging group called the `#BritishBloggerSelection`

The idea of this is that every week there is a new theme and whether you are a lifestyle, fashion or beauty blogger, you can get involved and write a post about it! So in order to be part of this, all you have to do is Email Ellie with your full name, the name of your blog and its URL. I'm really looking forward to this because I've never done anything like it, it's going to be so fun to connect with even more bloggers!

Let me know if you'll be taking part!

All the ways I got to know, your pretty face and electric soul.

OOTD #30

Hi everyone, I hope you're well.
This is what I wore to a friends sixteenth birthday meal last saturday, I really wish the skirt was longer on this dress, it looked longer online, but I still like this outfit over all!

Earrings- Primark
Leather jacket- ASOS
Chain- Primark
Dress- Ark
Midi ring- River Island
Watch- Olivia Burton
Tights- Tesco
Boots- New Look

I love the 60's feel to this dress and thought it looked really nice with just a simple gold chain as well as my stud earrings, both from good old Primark!

keeping with the gold jewelry theme, I went for my favourite River Island midi ring. On my nails, I wore Barry M's `Red wine` such a classic shade and one of my all time favourites for autumn.

Now onto my favourite new addition to my wardrobe, my New Look boots. I adore the cut-out and buckle detail and the height is just perfect for me. They're pretty casual so I expect you'll be seeing a lot more of them!

I thought my watch was a fab extra for this outfit; I love the contrast between black and tan leather!

My makeup was pretty standard, mainly just my usual cateye liner paired with my new favourite lipstick Kate Moss for Rimmel `107`, a Blogger classic!

So far this half term I've just been pretty chilled, I went to London on Saturday and yesterday was just a lazy one, what half terms are made for if you ask me! I wasn't really affected by this storm the media has been going on about for days, I hope none of you have been either!

What do you think of this outfit? What have you been up to this half term?

NOWSEEN.com jewellery competition.

Hiya loves, hope you're all well :)
I was recently contacted by NOWSEEN.com , a new online jewellery brand who use beautiful real gemstones and precious metals to make truely stunning pieces.

As soon as I saw the images they sent me I squealed with delight! Everything is so pretty, and thats not even the best bit. As they are a new brand, they are running a competition in which one lucky person will win £200 worth of goregous jewellery from their autumn/winter collections. All you have to do in order to be in with a chance of winning is like their Facebook page and follow them on Twitter it honestly couldn't be easier so I'm so excited to bring this to you guys!

I am going to be working with them some more after they launch so look out for that, and in the mean time, go and enter!

Celebrity style #6: Lana Del Rey.

Howdy y'all,
Recently, something strange has gone on; I have fallen head over heels for Lana Del Rey. Late to the party on this one I know, but hear me out! I had never really listened to much of her music, but just sort of admired it from a far. However recently she is all I've been listening too, and singing at top volume too as well I might add. So once I'd had a chance to enjoy her voice, I did what any sensible blogger would do, checked out her style! Luckily I can confirm that she has ticked this box for me as well, it seems she can now do no wrong in my eyes!

1.2.3.

1. Reason #1 why I'm infatuated, lana gets red faced but can still look gorgeous! I love the red converse and band tee combo, as well as that old 90's chestnut, the shirt around the waist. A pair of denim shorts are a staple in anyones wardrobe so this look is a fab one to recreate.

2. I adore this outfit; the mint/pale blue looks goregous with her skin tone and hair and I love addition of the flower crown. The detail on the front adds a unique twist to an otherwise plain chiffon skater dress which makes it for me.

3. This is such a cute outfit, the highwaisted skirt and crop top combo accentuates her tiny waist and I love the sheer panels going on. Navy, polka dots and white is always going to work, but Lana wears it in quite a daring way which I think she totally pulls off.

Whenever Ms. Del Rey steps out onto the red carpet, she just oozes old school Hollywood glamour, which is just what a glitzy event should be about!

1.2.3.

1. I'm not usually one for patterned dresses, I think they're far too loud and just clash which everything, however as this one is black and white, it tones it down and the print is just so elegant and really flatters her figure.

2. Red on a red carpet can also be quite risky, but Lana does it again! I love the way it's draped at the top, it makes it seem so effortless. I think her minimal jewelry and lack of clutch add to the impact of the dress because there is nothing else that draws your eye to it.

3. The most classic look out of the three; this cream number is so goregous. It screams glamour and is perfect on Lana. The belt and the waist is really flattering and pulls everything together, I love the gold clutch as well!

Lana is well known for her gorgeous locks and 60's inspired makeup;
1.2.3.

1. The most `Lana` look out of the three. I adore the peach blusher and nude lips, and of course the winged liner.

2. Ah I love this look! The smokey eye against her pale skin here makes it so striking. Her skin is absolutely flawless, probably photoshopped, however I'm sure it is naturally radiant!

3. This has to be my favourite look, I can't get enough off the lip shade, so perfect for autumn. The gold eye is so pretty as well, I'm glad she didn't go really strong on the eyes here as well, it would have been a bit too much!

So as I continue this love affair, what do you think about Lana's style? What is your favourite look?

Life through my lens #2.

Hi everyone,

Trend #7: Camo.

Hi everyone, happy saturday!
Today's trend is one that I haven't always been the biggest fan of, but now love! There's something about autumn that just makes me love khaki, and what better way to add some of it to your wardrobe than with a camo print?

Whistles camoflauge dress, / Aéropostale green anorak jacket / Topshop navy blue camisole / Sam Edelman faux-fur boots / Proenza Schouler camo bag / Material Girl camo wallet

I love the Topshop cami, just a hint of camouflage about it, so it is a super versatile piece, but is still  a nod to this trend. The anorak is perfect for those fall showers, and because it is really lightweight you can afford to layer up . I adore the black and grey purse, so classy. The dress isn't something I think I could pull of personally, but I can imagine it would look amazing on someone like Lily!

Are you a fan of this trend? What is your favourite item?

That kind of luxe just ain't for us, we crave a different kind of buzz.

OOTD #29

Hi everyone, I thought I'd share my outfit for a shopping trip on saturday, I'm loving tartan at the moment!
I'm so sorry for the lack of posts this week, I have been so busy with school and everything.

Earrings- River Island
Top- Primark
Jacket- ASOS
Bag- Matalan
Watch- Olivia Burton
Jeans- Primark
Converse- Office

As soon as I saw this top in Primark, I knew it had to be mine! I actually wish it wasn't a crop top (weird I know!) but it means it's not very practical for winter, no one wants a frozen, middle, so I think I'll have to wear this with skirts in the future. Anyway back to the top! I love the colour combination of red green and purple, it's actually really festive :)

I decided to wear one of favourite nail polishes for this time of year, H&M's `Blue my mind` with an accent nail called `Ocean` from a brand called La Femme Beauty.

My trusty white high tops went perfectly this outfit, all  though they are definitely not very white anymore!

My watch was also, as always, on.

I love these earrings, they are just really dainty and not like any of my others.

Please excuse my ghostly face and skin, it is at war with me at the moment.

I'm not at school today, the teachers are striking, so it's great for me!  I'm just using today to catch up on things really :)

What do you think of this outfit? What are you up to today?

Wishlist: New Look skirts.

Hi everyone,
I was recently approached by New Look to work with them by blogging about either day dresses, maxi dresses or skirts. If you know me, you will know that I am a huge lover of a skirt or two, so no prizes for guessing what I chose!
I have compiled a wish list of my favourite skirts currently in store which I think are just perfect for autumn :) but New look have so many gorgeous skirts at the moment so check them out!

1. Ah this skirt reminds me of clueless so much! I can just see Cher walking around the `mall` going `As if!` keeping it 90's style, I would pair this with a cosy jumper with a peter pan collared shirt, some knee high socks and cute Mary Jane flats.

2. A skater skirt is a staple in anyone wardrobe, and this burgundy one is perfect for autumn. They also have this in lots of other colours like my favourite bottle green :)

3. This is one of my favourites out of the six, tapestry always tugs at my heart strings! I love the rich, luxurious feel it has and this one is so pretty. I feel like this would be a timeless item and will always be fashionable.

4. Velvet has been everywhere this season, this black skirt is a good way to jazz up a simple black skater and it would be perfect if your planning a witchy outfit come Halloween!

5. Tartan is also a winner for autumn, you cant beat channeling a Scot/school girl!

6. Finally is this gorgeous midi; leather has had a bit of a revival in the skirt department lately and this one is a steal and although it's not actual leather it definitely looks the part.  I would wear this with a fluffy jumper, that look was a staple at LFW this year!

I'm going to London today to see my little cousins and generally enjoy the city, should be fun! I went shopping yesterday so let we know if you would like to see a makeup haul :)

What skirts are you loving at the moment? Which is your favourite from above?

October Primark haul.

Hi everyone,
last Saturday I went on a trip to primark to get a few things for autumn, I didn't actually see a massive amount that I liked, but they did have some things that I loved!

First up are these tights which I bought for halloween to wear with this dress.

They're meant to be over the knee, but on me they ended up being just below, however I'm sure they'll still do the job, they were really cheap as well so I can't really complain!

Another legwear oriented purchase were these socks;

These are so cute and I already know how I want to wear them, hopefully I can "rock my keds and tube socks" ;)

I've finally got round to buying a new pair of black jeans, my zara ones have seriously faded!

These are in the Topshop `Joni` style and are so comfy. They were a snip at £10 as well, I need to get a few more pairs I think!

This is one of my favourite purchases of late, I've been looking for a velvet skirt for a while and I finally found one!

The colour is so rich and for course it feels really luxurious being velvet. They also had this in a bottle green and navy so if red isn't your cup of tea I'm sure one of them would be!

If you read this post, you would have realised that I have a lot of love for tartan at the moment, hence the next two tops. As this is a monochrome piece, it is going to go with so much, and also, it's got a collar!

The other top I picked was this cropped one; I love the high neck and colours :) I've tried this on with the jeans and it looked so nice, so expect an OOTD soon!

Finally, I bought some new earrings;

I've already worn these non stop and I love the stud design :)

So that's what I bought in Primark!

What do you think of these items? What have you been buying lately?

Don't forget to enter my giveaway!

Trend #6 : Baby pink baby.

Hi everyone, hope your having a good Sunday :)

This is a post that I never thought I would be writing in autumn, spring maybe, but not when I usually thinking about chunky knits and thick leggings. However there is no denying that the fashion world has gone totally crazy for this particular shade of pink , after that Zara coat hit the high street it has only gone one way, up!

Baby pink

Ted Baker pink trench coat / River island cardigan ,  / New look varsity jacket, / Topshop pink shorts / Zara clutch /Topshop satchel

I'm a huge lover of pink, so I for one am not complaining! I love the elegant Ted Baker coat, it's just a shame it's so pricey. The Topshop shorts and satchel had me at hello, so cute. The varsity jacket  rolls two trends into one and is also half price at the moment so whats not to like! I've also got baby pink on my nails at the moment so I'm feeling smugly on trend ;)

Are you a fan of this trend? What's your favourite item?

Don't forget to enter my giveaway- only 5 days until it closes!

Autumn leaves falling down like pictures into place.

OOTD#28

Hi everyone and happy friday!
This is the most autumnal thing I have worn in a while for sure, so I thought I would share it with you lovely people :) Also sorry about the contrast of the pictures, the sun was really bright.

Top-Topshop
Coat-Fashion union
Necklace- Primark/DIY
Bag- Matalan
Jeans- Matalan
Socks- Primark
Boots- Republic

I love these boots, they're on their last legs I think now, but they are still as cosy as the day I bought them and I love the little Aztec detailing arounds the sides.

This is my Wendy Necklace :) You've got to love a bit of Peter Pan. I had to change the thread it was on after it snapped on me (good old Primark) but I actually prefer it now and the acorn but has really lasted!

Finally my bag :) goes with everything and I'm sure it will forever!

On a side note, has anyone else been affected my the cancelling of the November maths exam? I'm fuming!

Don't forget to check out my giveaway which closes in a week!

What do you think of this outfit?
