Top five: The Glitter polishes.

Hello everyone, I hope your enjoying Christmas Eve eve!
This is my last post before the 25th, so it's only fitting that it's suitability festive! These are my top five glitter polish picks and hopefully, something for everyone.

`The Topcoat glitter`- Barry M `244 Hologram`

This polish is perfect for adding some extra glitz to any shade, I love it over black and turquoise blue, but really it will compliment anything! I adore how the little holographic hexagons catch the light, you can see in the picture above that they go all sorts of goregous colours as well as their silver base.

`The Bargain glitter`- Angelica `Love you 40`

If you read my Beauty Bargains post, you might remember this stunner, and the best part? It cost me all of 50p! Rightfully titled `the bargain`polish I think. The actual shade wonderful , I love the rich berry pink and it looks so goregous on. These are available in Primark in a multitude of colours so I might have to pick up some more!

`The multi-glitter`- La Femme Beauty `Ocean`

I do love a good multi- glitter, this one is a mix of royal blue, aqua blue, silver and a sea green. This is the perfect antidote to your standard one shade glitter and I love it to bits. `Ocean` is fab as a topcoat, accent nail or as a full on glitter.

`The trend glitter`- Look Beauty `Bling`

We all know rose gold has been huge this year, and on the nails this sparkles as gorgeously as any Micheal Kors watch! I'm wearing this right now and its is so lovely, it's actually quite textured which I heart and it is perfect for a glam Christmas manicure.

`The showstopping glitter`- Topshop `Razzmatazz`

Finally, an all time favourite of mine, Topshop's `Razzmatazz. Look at it. You can see it on the nails over on my Instagram page, and you guys seemed to like it too! This is just my perfect all round glitter; holographic particles, different sized chunks of glitter, not too hard to remover, plus it doesn't break the bank, yay!

I love all of these glitters, which one is your favourite?

I would like to wish you all a very merry Christmas, I hope you have a wonderful day. How I'm going to sleep tomorrow night I just don't know!

October Favourites.

Hi everyone,
I actually cannot get over the fact that it is November, how has this year gone so fast?! Before we know it, it will be 2014 and time for making new years resolutions that we know we'll never stick to... Anyway, back to the present! I didn't actually do a favourites post last month, simple because I hadn't really been loving anything new, October however was a very different story.

One thing I have been loving is lipsticks, and there is a distinctly berry theme going on.

-Rimmel Kate matte lipstick `107`-

First up is a blogger classic, the famed Kate Moss for Rimmel lipstick in `107` I can see why this is so popular, it's the perfect autumn shade and goes with everything. I personally love it teamed with my favourite winged liner. As always the formulation of the lipstick is wonderful, as well as being matte (my favourite!) I now have quite a collection of these lipsticks, and I can see myself picking up more shades in the future (read my review of them here)

-MUA lipstick in shade `2` -

This is a lipstick I've had for a while now and have only recently really started to use. This is the most purple lippie out of the three and although it doesn't have the best staying power, I find it's nice and moisturising and adore the colour.

-Revlon colourburst lip butter in `Raspberry pie`  -

Finally on the topic of lipsticks is `Raspberry pie` This has been a favourite of mine since I bought it last autumn, and I'd been waiting all summer for the chance to wear it again! As always with the lip butters, it is so moisturising and glossy and is definitely going to see a lot of wear this season.

-L'oreal skin perfection micellar solution-

My skincare favourite of this month has to be this L'oreal micellar water. This makes eye makeup removal such a breeze and is so soft on the skin. Unlike with some makeup removers, this leaves zero oily residue (something I cannot stand) so that's another bonus, plus I adore the packaging. I'm already on my second bottle so I must love it!

-Sleek I Divine eye palette in `Au natural` -

This is something I've been wanting to get my hands on since I started taking an interest in eyeshadow, and I finally have it! I've Been using it pretty much everyday since I got it, and for the moment it has even replaced my trusty MUA `Undress me too palette` Because it has a mix of matte and shimmer shades, this is the perfect multi purpose palette. I have used pretty much all of the shades as it doesn't have any annoying `when would I ever wear that` shadows.

-Rimmel Stay Matte foundation in `010 light porcelain` -

I'm not really one for foundations, you know some people get excited about a particular side of make up? Well for me base products are pretty far down that list, I'm more of a `stick to what you know` kinda gal. But recently I had been looking for something with a higher coverage than my usual Rimmel match perfection foundation and after trying a sample of this I knew I had found it! As this is a moose rather than a liquid foundation, I prefer to use my Real techniques Buffing brush with it, rather than my expert face brush to really work it into my face. I find this gives the coverage I wanted without feeling cakey, so it's a big thumbs up from me!

-Rimmel Scandaleyes retro glam mascara-

The final Rimmel product for this month is a mascara (what can I say, Rimmel are bringing it at the moment!) At first I didn't get on with this, I found it made my  lashes really clumpy, however I have found the way to go with this is to build it up gradually in order to get the desired effect. I find the brush fairly easy to work with and one this I LOVE about this mascara is that it doesn't end up under my eyes at the end of the day, yay!

-Real Techniques `base shadow brush` and `brow brush`-

Last month I finally bought the Real Techniques starter set, which included these to brushes which have made favorite status out of the five. The Brow brush just does what it says on the tin really, I find it is the perfect shape for using powder to fill in and hands down beats the brush I was using before. The Base shadow brush is just your perfect all round tool really, the best for any eyeshadow look.

-Barry M nail polish in `Red Wine-

The final beauty favourite is the nail polish. This had been my colour of choice recently, the prettiest deep red; see it on in this post :)

As far as `other` favourites go, I have been love love loving Lorde and Lana Del Rey, particularly the songs Royales Tennis CourtBlue Jeans  and Young and Beautiful

I finished `My sisters keeper` as well, such a good book. It's basically about a girl who decides to go to court against her parents for legal rights to her body, after she had been donating all sorts to her ill sister for years. I have to say I did not expect the ending!

That's it for another month, i'm back to school tomorrow *cries*  so things are going to get more intense than last term I'm sure, wish me luck!

What have you been loving lately? Have you tried any of these products?

Top five summer nail polishes.

Hello lovelies,
As it is starting to feel pretty summery here in the UK, I thought I would share my favourite summer polishes with you!

First up, in no particular order, is this Bourjois polish.

Very annoyingly, it doesn't have a name, but I would call in `Coral sands` (yep, I like to name my unnamed colours :p) it is a gorgeous pinky coral shade with teeny tiny flecks of gold running through it. Perfection. This is the only bourjois polish I have, but the formulation and consistency is amazing, it really lives up to expectation as a `gel` polish. I have this on my toes through out the summer because it's so chip resistant!

Next up is a classic in the blogosphere, Barry M Peach melba!

One reason I love this for the summer, is because it looks so lovely with a tan! It's a really eye catching but understated shade, and one of the most used in my growing Barry M collection. Also, Barry M is crazy cheap, so you can use this without fear of using it up to fast or wasting it, yay for not feeling guilty!

Another one of my favourite colours is Models own Lemon meringue;

I cannot express my love for this shade :) Think the perfect pastel lemon yellow, et voila, you have this! When I bought it, I put it on as soon as I got home, and I have been loving it ever since. Not to mention the fact that I got this beaut for two pounds in a republic sale!

One of my newest nail polishes, and now favourites, is Maybelline Mint for life.

It's so pretty! Mint is defo one of my favourite colours to have on my nails, It just makes me feel all summery for some reason. I think this is a really good dupe for Essie's `MInt candy apple` so I've saved a few pennies by purchasing this and not that!

Last up is No7 Me!Me!Me! this is a gorgeous vibrant pink colour, and you can see how much I've used it! It's such a lovely summer shade, simple but effective :) I also really love the brushes of these nail polishes; they're really big so, you you can practically cover your nail in one swipe!

So these are my favourites for summer! What are yours ?
