I was tagged by Lydia recently to do the `The blogger made me buy it` tag, and here we are today. Before we begin, Lydia's blog is seriously gorgeous, her photos are stunning and she post really regularly, so head over here an show her some love!  

1. Who are your most influential bloggers? Who are the ones that you really rely on for reviews and swatches?

I love Lily (Lily Pebbles), Vivianna (Vivianna does makeup), Zoe (Zoella) and Bethany (Birds Words) and fully trust their opinions! They always have really clear images and feel like they are fully honest with reviews. 

2. Do you buy a product solely as a result from one review from your favourite bloggers, or do you look for more reviews from others?

I always read lots of reviews when before I part with my cash, so I would always check out more than one blog. 

3. What is your most favourite item that you have ever bought as a consequence of blogs?
Without a doubt, my Naked three palette. I knew as soon as my rose-gold-loving eyes saw it, I had to have it! The fact that it was all over my favorite blogs 100% added to the lusting, but I am so glad that I did by it- defo lived up to the hype! Read my thoughts on it here.

4. What is your least favourite item that you have ever bought as a consequence of blogs?
Just like Lydia, I found the Maybelline Baby lips such a disappointment. I thought with the frankly ridiculous amount of hype they had, they were going to be amazing, but alas, they literally are just a standard lip balm ~cries~

5. Name 5 products you have bought recently as a result of blogs. 
Okeydokey; Kate Moss for Rimmel 107 lipstick, Maybelline BrowDrama, Urban Decay Naked3 palette, Maybelline Baby lips and the Maybelline Rocket volmum' mascara. 

6. Have you ever given into blogger hype? If so, which hype?
I think the list above and photos are pretty self explanatory! I would never buy something just because of the hype, but it definitely has an influence on my spending. 

7. Have you ever avoided blogger hype? If so, which hype? 
Not really, I tend to think is something is hyped up, it is generally worth it. 

8. Is everything you buy based on blogger reviews or are there some items you buy without checking out a review?

Not everything I buy is as a result of a review or a bloggers raving ( I live on the edge- what can I say) I actually quite like it when I find something new and unexpected. If I see somethign in Boots that catches my eye and I haven't seen a review on, I will still add it to my basket!

Hi everyone,

 I firstly want to apologize for the awful lack of posts and how late I have been posting them moment, school has been intense!

 However, today, I have a really fun post, The Sunshine award! I have been nominated twice for this which is ridiculously flattering, but the lovely Sarah was first so I'm going with her questions. This award is given to "bloggers who are positive and creatively inspire others in the blogosphere" so it is amazing to have been awarded it!

1. For me, the shower in undoubtedly the best place to sing.

2. I have never had a pet, but I would love a dog when I'm older.

3. I'm slowly becoming a hot chocolate addict... *sips hot chocolate*

4. I'm in my last year of school, doing my GCSEs, it feels like yesterday I was running around on a playground!

5. I really want to travel, if I do well in my French GCSE a trip to Paris might even be on the cards!

6.  I prefer gold to silver jewelry. 

7. I have a huge passion for English.

9. Italian food is the best, but I'm not a fussy eater.

1. Name three things you can't live without?

My phone, my family and my friends *awwww*

2. What's the best piece of advice you've ever received?

You're never going to please everyone, so don't focus on anyone of anything negative in your life.

3. What would your last meal be?

Maybe a huge roast, or chinese or just loads of cake; I really underestimated how hard this question was!

4. What are your favourite types of blog posts to read?

I adore OOTD's, hauls, beauty reviews and lifestyle post. 

5. Why did you start blogging?

I had been reading blogs for a long time before I started my own and finally decided I wanted a pice of the blogging action! 

6.  If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be and why?

Probably a really chilled island somewhere with the perfect temperature all year round, goregous beaches and friendly locals, but just a hop step and a jump away from a Topshop!

7. Who or what is your biggest inspiration?

People like Rosa parks who have tested boundaries and not settled for something that isn't right, it takes a special kind of bravery to speak out like that I think.

8. What is the best present you ever received?

I'll have to say the Olivia Burton watch I received for my birthday this year I wear it everyday and will continue to for a long time :).

9.  Describe yourself in three words?

Girly, opinionated and considerate. 

10. What has been your favourite holiday?

I went to Spain with my family in February one year and the loveliest time ever :)

11. If you could live in any other time in history when would it be?

100% the roaring 20's, who wouldn't want to part with Gatsby?

Liebster award!

Guess what, I've been nominated for the Liebster award! I would first like to thank the lovely Valeriya for nominating me :) (check her out, her blog's gorgeous!) 

The idea of this award is that you nominate 11 people , they then ask you 11 questions which you answer, as well as adding 11 facts about yourself. Next  you do the same for 11 other bloggers, asking them 11 of your own questions, get it?

So,without further-a-do, lets get onto the questions Valeriya asked me :)

1. What's your favourite colour of lipstick?

I would have to say red, I do love a bold lip! I find a slick of red lipstick can really make an otherwise plain outfit, and totally boost my confidence. I really want to purchase Mac Ruby woo, but my favourite is the Kate Moss for Rimmel lipstick in the first shade. 

2.Why did you start a blog?

One of my favourite things to do is read blogs, and I had done for quite a while before starting my own, I wanted to be able to comment on posts I loved and generally get involved in Blogging. I'm also a total fashion and beauty addict, so I thought starting a blog would be the perfect way to share that with other like minded people :) I also love English and writing so that's another bonus for me!

3.Which place would you like to visit?

This is such a hard question for me, because one of the things I really want to do in life is travel! I think at the moment I would have to say its between America, specifically New York, or Paris. A bit of a cliche, but I would really love to visit both places :)

4.What is your favourite genre of music?

I think I would have to say `pop`, even though that really makes me cringe! I love artists like Ellie Goulding, Bastille, Taylor Swift and Nina Nesbitt. I wouldn't say that I have the most mainstream music taste, I wont like a song just because it in the charts or everyone else like it anyway, but I'm really hypocritical; I'll really hate a song one day, and then I wont stop singing it the next!

 5. How often do you use hair straighteners, curlers, etc.?

Honestly? practically everyday. It sounds bad, but I have to blow dry my hair after I wash it because a) It takes forever to dry and b) it looks really awful if I don't  I also have to whip out the old curling wand as naturally I just have awkward flicks for hair. But don't worry, I use all the heat protection sprays I need ;)

6. What kind of a camera do you use?

I use my mums camera, which is the Nikon coolpix P100, not really sure what else to say!

7. What phone do you use?

I use a HTC Desire HD, which I love. I would defo recommend it if you don't want an Iphone :)

8. Your favourite magazine to read?

It was Shout, but I have recently been buying Company a lot more, which I really like.

9. List 5 of your favourite blogs to read.

This is really hard to pick just five, but I think I'm going to say;

I don't really shop in one place in particular, but I would say my main places are H&M, Primark and Topshop!

11 facts about me: 

1. I'm am currently taking my GCSE's, and am studding English language, literature, humanities, math, science, french, drama, history and textiles.

2. I have a bit of an addiction to organising ; all my nail polishes are sorted by brand, then colour, my make up all has a specific place, and I actually don't mind tiding my room!

3. Watching YouTube video's is one of my favourite things to do.

4. I'm not really sure what I want to do career wise, put I'm thinking maybe something to do with people, retail or media.

5. I once fainted at a swimming pool, wearing only a towel *awkward experience*

6. I really want two sausage dogs, their adorable.

7. I love Audrey Hepburn, I just think she is style and elegance personified.

8. I think rudeness is one of the worst traits a person can have.

9. I made one of my best friends by tapping them on the shoulder in the playground at our primary school on the first day and saying, "do you want to be best friends with me?" and we have been ever since. If only everything in life was that easy!

10.I do a paper round every Thursday,( even all that snow and ice didn't stop me!) and for my work experience soon I'm going to be working in Tea monkey, I'm really dreading dropping something!
