When Alice did Paris: Outfit #1.

OOTD #60

Bonjour tout le monde!
Guess who is finally writing a blog post?! I have well and truly slacked for the past few months in terms of blogging. I'm annoyed with myself for letting time run away with me quite so badly! Setting that aside, I've got lots of material from Paris to blog about so yay! I had the most incredible time. It was everything I wanted it to be and more- I always worry when you hear so much about a city or specific place that you are going to underwhelmed, but Paris was worth all it's hype. I'm now dreaming about  living there if my french is ever good enough!

On the first full day we visited the Louvre and the Tuileries (which I will have a full post on soon) and this is what I wore, firstly with my jacket and scarf and after with a lipstick change!

Mac- Primark
Scarf- Vintage
Top- Primark
Belt- Primark
Watch- Olivia Burton
Shorts- River Island
Tights- M&S
Boots- Office

Whilst I was taking these pictures, I was being stared at by confused french teenagers, so bare with the poses!
These shorts were a fab sale find, only £12 from about £30 I think. They are a really nice thick material so perfect for winter with a pair of tights. I'm really loving hounds-tooth at the moment so they are right up my street. Roll necks have become a favourite of mine this season, I think they look so smart. This one is more of a t-shirt material than a jumper, so I've ordered a nice thick one for when it gets colder. These boots are my staff shoe and served me well in Paris. The weather was lovely the whole time were where there, not cold at all, so I made the most of wearing this not-so-warm outfit!

I hope you are all good, let me know what you've been up to! I missed interacting with all you lovely people.

What do you think of this outfit? Have you been to Paris?

An oxford outfit.

OOTD #59

Hello loves,
Well this month has been a total fail in terms of blogging! My sincerest appogies, I'm not even too sure what happened, time just ran away from me I suppose.

As you read this I will be on my way to Paris (probably in a state of over excitement and sleepiness) and I cannot wait!  I've been looking forward to this trip for months, so expect a full report when I'm back! In the mean time, you can see what I'm up to on my twitter and Instagram :)

Anyway, this is what I wore a few weeks ago for a lovely day trip to oxford.

Top- Topshop
Skirt- H&M
Bag- Accessorize
Shoes-Topshop

You must all know by now that I have a huge girl crush on the Clueless character Cher, so when I saw this skirt in H&M I had to have it. I love the way it sits, even if it is a little on the short side. This top has become a total staple in my wardrobe, it's the easiest thing to style as it goes with everything. This bag was the perfect day trip size, and I love the slightly unusual colour. These topshop shoes are another thing I can't stop wearing, they are so comfy now and add a bit of interest to most outfits.

I hope you all have a great half term, it's been a long couple of weeks!

What do you think of this outfit? What are you up to this week?

Thunder only happens when it's raining.

OOTD #58

Hello everyone, I hope you're all well,
This is something wore to sixth form last week, it looks quite A/W appropriate despite the fact that it's been so mild, I want it to feel like October now!

Crop top- Primark
Skirt- Miss Selfridge
Watch- Olivia Burton
Bracelet- Pandora
Tights- M&S
Shoes- Topshop

This crop top is something I picked up this time last year, although truth be told I didn't wear it much, but it is the perfect match with this skirt. I love the mix of colours included on it, normally I'm not a fan of red and purple, but it just works here! This skirt is a staple in my wardrobe all year round and always works well with crop tops. I'm also still loving my ombre!

Still in love with my watch, it's the most perfect accessory in autumn.

I'm so glad these shoes are now comfy! They have been successfully broken in and can just be thrown on with anything which is the beauty of them, they add a tougher edge to some of my girly outfits as well.

What do you think of this outfit? Are you a fan of crop tops even when it's getting colder?

Maybe I'm expecting the perfect reaction, it's pulled me back.

OOTD #56

Hello everyone,
Again way to much time has pasted between this and my last post, I need to get my self sorted out!I started sixth form this week and have already had quite the workload, that coupled with working has not left me with much time, but I do like being back in the routine and having things being all go.

I wore this for a meal with my favourite people at TGI Fridays last night, the food was pricey but the  atmosphere was fab and we literally couldn't stop laughing all night.

Dress- Topshop
Cami- New look
Watch- Olivia Burton
Bracelet- Pandora
Shoes- Topshop

This gorgeous dress was a Topshop sale find, originally £38 but I snapped it up for just £15! I love the print, totally unlike anything I've seen, the blue flowers add the perfect pop of colour. The nipped in waist is super flattering and I can see myself dressing his up for down loads.

These shoes are my new favorites, despite the fact that they are pretty uncomfortable (Blogger probs eh?) I love the cut out design, and they have just the right amount of heel.

I had my watch on as always, somethings never change!

I'm still totally in love this my Pandora bracelet, one of my favourite presents ever.

Of guard back shot! I love the shape of this dress, and the rose gold zip almost all the way down is a lovely detail.

In other news, I'm going to Paris this October! It  has honestly been a dream of mine to visit this famed city for as long as I can remember so I am so so excited, please let me know if you have any must visits places, and feel free to leave me any links!

What do you think of this outfit? What have you been up to lately?

She said the bleedings incidental, because she's so cool.

OOTD #55

Hello everyone,
Some of you may have already spied this skirt on my Instagram, it was lovely that it went down well with my fellow bloggers! It was just £5 in the River Island sale if you can believe it, reduced from something like £26, bargain of the day was definitely achieved with this one. You should all know that I am obsessed with Cher and Clueless in general, so the addition of this to my wardrobe makes me very, very happy. I wore this ensemble for a lovely day in Portsmouth last week, and I actually managed to dress for the weather for once!

Crop top- Topshop
Skirt- River island
Watch- Olivia Burton
Bag- Primark
Socks- Primark
Shoes- Primark

Here it is in all it's glory; I adore the combo of blues and what is actually a pale pink (rather than the super light yellow my camera picked up), the wrap over design, complete with the little buckle at the top. I can't wait to wear this with jumpers and boots when it gets to autumn!

New favorite bag alert! I'm in love with the detail on it, the perfect size as well, I can fit my phone, purse, a jumper, makeup essentials, my camera and all my other bits an bobs in into with ease, so the girl who has everything with her at all times dream.

How adorable is this combo? Frilly socks and cut out shoes are my favorite, I feel Cher would approve.

Oh and also, the title of this post is from the 1975 milk (listen here, I'm obsessed!) But it really reminds me of the song that's playing at the party when Tia slips down the stairs, thoughts?

What do you think of this outfit? Have you found nay bargains recently?
