You're missing what is right before your eyes.

OOTD#62

Hello everyone,
This is a super simple sixth form outfit from a week or so ago that I ended up really liking. It's nothing special but comfy and warm. Please excuse my resemblance to a ghost, no idea what happened with the exposure!

Coat- New Look
Jumper- New look
Jeans- Topshop
Loafers- Office

I've never actually featured my coat on here somehow, (despite having worn it pretty much everyday for a while!) but I love it. It is really warm and very practical (which is rare for me) I like the slightly over-sized fit and it goes with everything. This jumper has been another staple in my wardrobe lately, I've been loving anything high necked and this one is so soft. I got these jeans for Christmas, the Topshop Jonis, in a really lovely blue. They are a darker wash than my other pair, but are also seem brighter somehow, so are a welcome pop of colour for winter outfits. Finally is one of my favourite pairs of shoes ever! They are called Extravaganza and fit me like a dream. They are super soft leather despite having a patent finish, and would you look at that colour! I've got my eye on the rose gold as well...

What do you think of this simple outfit? What do you wear for sixth form?

When Alice did Paris: Outfit #1.

OOTD #60

Bonjour tout le monde!
Guess who is finally writing a blog post?! I have well and truly slacked for the past few months in terms of blogging. I'm annoyed with myself for letting time run away with me quite so badly! Setting that aside, I've got lots of material from Paris to blog about so yay! I had the most incredible time. It was everything I wanted it to be and more- I always worry when you hear so much about a city or specific place that you are going to underwhelmed, but Paris was worth all it's hype. I'm now dreaming about  living there if my french is ever good enough!

On the first full day we visited the Louvre and the Tuileries (which I will have a full post on soon) and this is what I wore, firstly with my jacket and scarf and after with a lipstick change!

Mac- Primark
Scarf- Vintage
Top- Primark
Belt- Primark
Watch- Olivia Burton
Shorts- River Island
Tights- M&S
Boots- Office

Whilst I was taking these pictures, I was being stared at by confused french teenagers, so bare with the poses!
These shorts were a fab sale find, only £12 from about £30 I think. They are a really nice thick material so perfect for winter with a pair of tights. I'm really loving hounds-tooth at the moment so they are right up my street. Roll necks have become a favourite of mine this season, I think they look so smart. This one is more of a t-shirt material than a jumper, so I've ordered a nice thick one for when it gets colder. These boots are my staff shoe and served me well in Paris. The weather was lovely the whole time were where there, not cold at all, so I made the most of wearing this not-so-warm outfit!

I hope you are all good, let me know what you've been up to! I missed interacting with all you lovely people.

What do you think of this outfit? Have you been to Paris?

Wishlisting.

Hello everyone,
I'm sure you are sick of me moaning on Twitter about wanting to go shopping, but seen as I don't get paid until the end of July, I still have some waiting to do! With that in mind, I thought I'd assemble an idea on what I want to spend my pennies on once they land in my purse.

Wishlisting

Topshop checked smock // Topshop lace bralet // Monki carpet print top // H&M mint crop top // New Look striped bardot crop top // Topshop bleached denim jacket // Topshop black Joni jeans // River Island tile print smock dress //  River Island embellished black playsuit // H&M black chiffon kimono // Topshop powder blue scalloped shorts // Vans slip on shoes // Office slip on sandals // River Island black hat

Ok, so first up the kimono, this H&M one is a total bargain and will go with everything. I think it will give a lovely summery edge to outfits non? The black playsuit looks like it could have the potential to fit me (tall girl problems) and I love the beading. the two dresses below just look like the perfect thing to throw on a hot day (wishful thinking I know) and could be dressed up for down. The denim jacket and black Joni jeans are staples that I have lusted after for an age, it's high time they are in my wardrobe!  The bralet is such a pretty, delicate piece and the shorts are in my current favourite colour. The three t-shirts just caught my eye whilst browsing online, they are all such good prices! As I mentioned in my last post, I now work in Office, so there is shoe temptation everywhere! I'm hoping to pick these pairs up soon. And finally, the black floppy hat, need I say more?

What do you think of my picks? What are you after at the moment?

Across the sky of ageing uniqueness.

OOTD #52

Hello everyone,
Right first off apologizes for how I look in these pictures, not feeling my natural hair or how luminously pale I am, but whatever. Anyway, I wore this to a little local festival the other week, can you believe this dress cost me just £5 in the H&M sale! I love it an I know I'm going to get so much wear out of it all year round, Plus it is feeding my stripe addiction...

Sunglasses- Primark
Dress- H&M
Watch- Olivia Burton
Bracelet- Topshop
Converse- Office

Sorry for how odd my back looks here, but I love the low back! I'm drawn anything with more of an unusual cut so this is right up my street.

I added my favorite little charm bracelet in an attempt to feel a little more festivaly (pathetic attempt I know) but well it's pretty and not to heavy for when it's hot.

I wore my watch too, although I'm sure you are so sick of reading that sentence aha!

I popped my converse on again, comfy and casual and ideal for wandering about all day.

I'm working today and Friday, but I'm off on Thursday and the whole weekend and I have lots of fun things coming up! It's my annual school trip to Alton Towers on Sunday, and actually the last time we will all go together so I'm super excited for that! If i'm honest I just can't wait to get paid! so many bits I've got my eye on right now.

What do you think of my outfit? What are you up to this week?

Hanging out the passenger side of his best friends ride.

OOTD #45

Hello everyone, Happy Easter!
I hope you're all having a lovely time with friends or family, and munching on lots of chocolate! I'm coming at you with a casual outfit of the day. I just wore this for day of revision and general errand running, but I l o v e it. I'm a huge fan or matching and clashing prints, and seen as my wardrobe seems to be full of checks at the moment, I thought I would take full advantage. There's a rare site on the blog today, straight hair! I'm all in favor of mixing it up once in a while.

Jacket- Primark
Shirt- H&M (here)
Jeans- Topshop Joni (here)
Converse- Office (here)

I feel like my ends are looking a bit dead here , time for a trim! The point of this picture was actually to show the shirt, isn't it lovely? All the squares line up nicely too, nothing looks worse than a wonky pattern!

You can see the contrast here too :) I've worn this jacket loads, so I would totally recorded picking it up if you're having a Primani sweep!

I thought Converse kept the casual vibe going, plus we all know just how comfy they are.

What do you think of this outfit? Are you a fan of matching prints?

One skirt, three ways.

Hello lovelies,
I mentioned that I had this post coming up in my latest haul, I had so much fun planning these outfit so I hope you like them! I'm sending you all some Mother's day love as well :)

Look one- casual

Top- Amazon
Skirt- Primark
Watch- Olivia Burton
Converse- Office

I absolutely love this outfit! The blue of this raglan top matches the skirt perfectly, and gives it that sports luxe vibe, especially with the converse. I wore my hair to one side, which I think gives the whole look a really chilled feel. The nail polish I'm wearing is Models Own Hedonist, I blummin' adore it! It's so bright and people always comment on it when I have it on.

Look two- Dressy

Crop top- H&M
Skirt- Primark
Watch- Olivia Burton
Boots- New Look

Next up is my `dressy` look. I think this would be perfect for a meal out somewhere nice, or perhaps even for an interview. I though the mix of lace gave it come continuity and flow downwards, it gives the illusion that it's a dress rather than two separates. The little cap sleeves are super delicate and make it really feminine. I deiced on my cut out heeled boots to tie in with the black from my top, they are a really comfy height as well, perfect for someone like me who is a flats girl through and through!

Look three- Party

Skirt (worn as dress) - Primark
Watch- Olivia Burton
Shoes - Deichmann

This final look is pretty self explanatory, I just wiggled the skirt up, and viola; we have a dress! Admittedly its not the most flattering in the middle, but I just wanted to show how versatile an item like this is. A pair of nude heels go with pretty much anything you can throw at them, so this shade of blue is no exception. One thing I must apologize for is my ghostly complexion; I am so so pale at the moment!

I hope you enjoyed this post, I want to start doing more `One *insert here*, three ways` so do let me know if you have any ideas!

Which look is your favorite? What do you think of this skirt?
