Wishlisting.

Hello everyone,
I'm sure you are sick of me moaning on Twitter about wanting to go shopping, but seen as I don't get paid until the end of July, I still have some waiting to do! With that in mind, I thought I'd assemble an idea on what I want to spend my pennies on once they land in my purse.

Wishlisting

Topshop checked smock // Topshop lace bralet // Monki carpet print top // H&M mint crop top // New Look striped bardot crop top // Topshop bleached denim jacket // Topshop black Joni jeans // River Island tile print smock dress //  River Island embellished black playsuit // H&M black chiffon kimono // Topshop powder blue scalloped shorts // Vans slip on shoes // Office slip on sandals // River Island black hat

Ok, so first up the kimono, this H&M one is a total bargain and will go with everything. I think it will give a lovely summery edge to outfits non? The black playsuit looks like it could have the potential to fit me (tall girl problems) and I love the beading. the two dresses below just look like the perfect thing to throw on a hot day (wishful thinking I know) and could be dressed up for down. The denim jacket and black Joni jeans are staples that I have lusted after for an age, it's high time they are in my wardrobe!  The bralet is such a pretty, delicate piece and the shorts are in my current favourite colour. The three t-shirts just caught my eye whilst browsing online, they are all such good prices! As I mentioned in my last post, I now work in Office, so there is shoe temptation everywhere! I'm hoping to pick these pairs up soon. And finally, the black floppy hat, need I say more?

What do you think of my picks? What are you after at the moment?

Trend #15: Under the palm tree

Hello everyone,
I'm giving myself a revision break and writing a little trends post :)
Palm print has been everywhere at the lately, and I think it really is is the perfect alternative to florals. There is something really fresh and summery about all these pieces so you're bound to like at least one!

Under the palm tree

Topshop deep v back dress// Topshop sleeveless top //Mango T-shirt//
River Island crop top//Oasis green romper // Topshop skate shoes

Let's kick things of with the shoes; I'm obsessed with this style and I think the bright print on this pair is a really fun take on the tropical and skate shoe trend. These would look equally lovely with a pair of jeans as they would with a pretty white dress (plus they've been reduced to just £15!) The dress above is the perfect shape if you want to keep things casual, and the colour combination of blue and silver keeps the print subtle too, I imagine it would look lovely with a pair of wedges and a floppy black hat. The two tops above look like summer staples to me; how perfect would they be with a black maxi? The little crop top in the corner has to be my favourite item of all, I love the fact that the palms are more like a silhouette, and the white and baby blue is so pretty. Finally we have a playsuit, the most palm-y of them all!

Trend #15: Head in the clouds.

Hello everyone,
Now I have always had a strange fascination with clouds; I just find it mesmerizing how they change constantly, they can look beautifully harmless and later switch to something pretty menacing. I have seen some gorgeous cloud printed garments popping up in a few places, so I thought it was only right to dedicate a post!

Head in the clouds

I'm not a huge fan of printed leggings by any means, but these ones I think are subtle enough not to look tacky. I think they would look lovely with a grey over-sized jumper and  a big floppy hat. The Alice and Olivia maxi is a dress of dreams; the fabric and the print just evoke images of a summer wedding or a stroll long a stunning beach (It's a shame it will set you back £325.) This little skirt is just adorable, a really playful way to add a bit of this trend to your wardrobe. Both of these tshirts are stunning, the longer of which I think you could get away with as a dress (maybe with long white socks and a pair of converse?) and the other is perfect for dressing up or down with it's more abstract print. Lastly, this little steal of a travel bag is calling my name- so pretty!

Trend #14: `Florals? For Spring? Groundbreaking`

Hello everyone,
You have no idea how long I have been waiting to quote this The Devil wears Prada phrase! This really is a `Florals? For Spring?` post (sorry Miranda Priestly) simply because this trend does come around every spring with out fail. I can't say I'm complaining!

'Florals? For Spring? Groundbreaking`

First off the shoes. Oh the shoes. I can't decide which I love more; the super sophisticated Ted Baker heels or the stunning Steve Maddens. I now feel I need them both. Shoes are a fab way to inject a little bit of this trend into your wardrobe if you're not a fan of the whole all over florals thing. The Topshop dress caught my eye as soon as I saw it. I think the colour palette is a really different, fun take on this trend. The skort combines two trends in one, I love the the tropical feel it has! The top would look gorgeous with a pair of jeans or a denim skirt. I don't think it would look out of place in an autumnal outfit either. The playsuit is a classic statement piece; perfect for those who can't get enough of florals!

Trend #13: Daisy crazy.

Happy Saturday everyone!
The weather is absolutely beautiful today so I intend to take full advantage of it. I'm sure it will come as no surprised that this spring I am utterly obsessed with daisy print (you only have to look at my last OOTD and Instagram page!) So I thought it was only appropriate to do a full trend post on it. Maybe it will get it out of my system? Yeah I doubt it too.

Daisy crazy.

Topshop knitted jumper // Insane Jungle crop top // Boohoo black playsuit //River Island black skirt//Accessorize cross-body bag//Forever 21 makeup pouch

First up, this Topshop jumper is the most perfect spring knit; light but still super cosy, plus the slight dip hem is a lovely touch. I've been really loving the look of playsuits lately and this Boohoo offering ticks all the boxes, It would look equally good with a fluffy black cardigan and Chelsea boots as it would with a leather jacket and chunky heels. The crop top is a wardrobe staple for spring/summer and is a total steal at only £11. The little makeup pouch is also a bargain (£2.88!) and makes me wish even more that I had a Forever 21 near me. Lastly is the most adorable bag, perfect for any spring occasion!

I'm so excited to tell you all that my blog hit 400 followers during the week, excited isn't even the word! Thank you all so very much.

Wish wish wishlist: Fashion.

Howdy everyone, I hope your all full to the brim with pancakes, I'm having mine later- I am far far to excited!

At the moment I seem to be lusting after so much. I think it's the whole Spring transition thing going on right now. You know; new season, new wardrobe, new me? That's how I'm rationalizing it anyhow... With my Birthday coming up in 3 days and 1 month (hey, who's counting?) I'm hoping to get my hands on a few things!

Wish wish wish
Topshop `Oui Non` t-shirt // New Look Blue top// Topshop Highwaisted denim shorts/ /Motel  A-line skirt // ASOS Cut-out flat shoes // Accessorize Black handbag// Primark Floral midi-dress// Primark Black skort

First up these shoes. I think I have a problem. I honestly can't stop thinking about them! I love the cut out detail, but also the fact that they are real leather - it's reeling me in. I may or may not have also started planning outfits around them... One thing I've wanted for an age is a skort, and this Primark one is a total steel at just £10, especially when you consider Zara prices. This Motel skirt has been calling to me for far too long as well, and seen as there are always Motel promo codes flying around I may have to invest. Pastel blue is my new favorite colour and I feel like this New Look top would go with everything. The `Oui Non` top is continuing my addiction with all things french; I just think it is so quirky and fun! This Primark dress has such a pretty print I couldn't not include it, plus I want to broaden my horizons form my usual skater style dresses and venture into the world of Midis- crazy I know. The bag and denim shorts are staples that every girl need is her repertoire, and mine is crying out for them!

Are you enjoying pancake day? What are your wishing for at the moment?

Celebrity style #7: Chloe Moretz.

Hello everyone, Happy half term!
It was the stunning Chloe Moretz's birthday this week, so I thought it was as good a time as any to take a look at her style.  She is practically the same age as me, which I must say is pretty upsetting... However, instead of being envious I'm going to be appreciative!

Chloe's laid back style is always effortless, she has that whole, `I-threw-this-on-in-five-seconds` thing down. Despite this, she wears a lot of heels which smartens up any outfit.

1.2.3.

1. This bomber jacket is so lovely! I love the all-black outfit built around it. Black skinnies always look super chic but also have the comfort value. Of course she wouldn't be a Hollywood darling without a pair of sunnies would she?

2. Despite the fact that I think that could be real fur (something I am wholeheartedly against) I  love this outfit. She wears leather trousers and sunglasses, with lace up heeled boots and a gorgeous distressed and/or  battered Mui Mui bag!

3. Finally a classic festival look; short shorts, a band tee and checked shirt. I love the addition of the flower crown with the tougher biker boots to balance it all out as well.

My favourite aspect of Chloe's style has to be her red carpet looks. She always appears so youthful and clearly has a lot of fun deciding what to wear!
1.2.3.

1. This is such a pretty party frock; I love the navy and maroon combo for the tile print, and even the shiny fabric (normally something I hate) gets a thumbs up form me. The shoes are to die for as well!

2. This has to be my favorite out of the three. The striking neon yellow shade looks gorgeous with her skin tone and the flower print is just adorable.  I love the red nail polish and black heels and the length is just right.

3. Another colour that looks wonderful on Miss. Moretz is turquoise, the panel design of this dress is super flattering and I love the nude heels with their pop of neon yellow just under the toe.

Chloe seems to favor smudged out eyes and nude lips in the makeup department, which I must say suits her down to a T, plus she is always smiling in photos- a girl after my own heart!

Are you a fan of Chloe's style? Which is your favourite outfit?

Trend #12: Gingham girl.

Hello everyone,
Tartan , checks and gingham are prints I have loved for the longest time now. Personally, I associate gingham with my little school sundresses and scrunchies we used to wear in the summer. Ah, sweet nostalgia.
It is safe to say that gingham has been updated since my playground days; it is chic and understated- and the high-street is loving it monochrome.

Gingham

Topshop sleeveless shell top // Mango tshirt // Pull and Bear sweat shirt // Topshop high-waisted trousers //Topshop skirt // FOSSIL scarf

I'm sure anyone with Instagram is full acquainted with that skirt, Topshop of course have been at the fore front of this trend, and I'm sure it has all stemmed from this. I love the brushed look to the fabric, and I'm sure it would look perfect with a pink fluffy cropped jumper, but equally so with bold contrasting colours like mint or coral (perfect for the transition into spring I must add) The scarf is an easy way to add a little bit of this trend into an outfit, it would also look adorable tied around a handbag. The sleeveless top has a usual raised, 3D like texture which I think is so different and really adds a lot to an otherwise very basic piece. If you did want to make more of an impact, these trousers will get you noticed! The high-waisted style is supper flattering on all body shapes as well. Finally the sweat-shirt and tee- real timeless staples, if only I had the money to add all of these things to my wardrobe!

In other new, I found out I got forty out of forty in my English Wilfred Owen CASS, so I'm really chuffed about that :) Also, I am honestly so sick of rain now its rather ridiculous , my craving for summer is becoming an obsession!

Debenhams: Winter style challenge.

Hi everyone,
I recently received an email all about a competition  Debenhams are running with bloggers at the moment; the challenge is to create a stylish daytime look, as well as an ultimate part outfit for the chance to win £500 worth of Debenhams vouchers!

Look 1: Day.
Debenhams

Oasis purple dress £42  / Warehouse trapeze coat  £50 / Rocha.John Rocha tan leather shoes £55/ Fiorelli tan purse  £47  / Roberto Cavalli perfume,  / OPI nail polish, £12

My first look I absolutely love, burgundy and turquoise are two of my favourite colours and together I think they are just dreamy. The shape of the dress is gorgeous I love the slouchy swing style as well as the sleeves. This coat is such a classic style I can imagine it would look wonderful with everything, I would wear it open so that the dress could peak through. The shoes are now on my wish list (uh-oh) I love the preppy but polish look they have, so gorgeous! The bag is also so lust worthy and I think it looks far more expensive than it is. Lastly this perfume; it is literally perfection. So. Good.

Look 2: Night. Debenhams.
Jolie Moi three quarter sleeve dress £24Oasis faux leather moto jacket £95 / Carvela black high heel shoes £59 / Carvela black handbag £69 / Yves Saint Laurent lips makeup £23 / Lady Gaga perfume £25

This is the perfect sophisticated evening look to me. Red and black are always going to look good, so it is a totally fail-safe choice if you want to impress. I love the contrast of textures on the jacket and it look like it would keep you nice and snug! The off the shoulder style of the dress is really flattering and I think the length is just right. The shoes and bag are the perfect pair and completely timeless; I adore the gold detail. For a finishing touch I would go for a luxurious YSL glossy stain and a spritz of Lady Gaga `The Fame` perfume.

I love both of these outfits and would love to have them in my wardrobe. If you would like to enter, check out the details here, it is open until the Monday the 13th of January so make sure you take part!

Do you like these outfits? Which is your favourite?

Trend #11: Pantone's purple.

Hello dolls, I hope you're all well
This is my last Saturday before I go back to school *cries* but I'm trying to make the most of it by getting lots of posts written and yummy things eaten- standard.

As this is my first trend post of 2014 , it seems fitting that it is about Pantone's colour of the year, which is the stunning shade `Radiant Orchid`, so with that in mind I have found all of my favourite purple pieces on offer at the moment.

Pantone's purple

Topshop shift dress  /River Island cami top /River Island playsuit /Dorothy Perkins midi skirt / ASOS platform heels, / The Cambridge Satchel Company courier bag

First off, would you look at those shoes!? These ASOS beauties are currently only £19 reduced from £60 (go go go!) so an absolute steal, although I am certain I would look like a baby giraffe taking it's first steps in them... Another bargain is the midi skirt, a slightly different shade of purple, more pink toned, so perfect if your not so keen on the amethyst shade but still want a bit of this trend in your wardrobe. The playsuit is perfect for nights out but I feel could also be dressed down with a fluffy cardigan, tights and ankle boots. The cami top is a great basic, they go with everything all year round. Ah the satchel, I love the bright colour with the classic design, so pretty! And last but by know means least, the dress; this is my favourite item I think, I love the shape, the colours and that kaleidoscope-esque print.

What's your favourite item? Are you a fan of this trend?

p.s. did anyone watch Sherlock, I still want to know how he's still alive!

2013: the outfits.

Hello everyone, I hope you're well.
This post is going to be very picture heavy just to warn you! Here we have all of the outfits I have documented in 2013. I thought it would be nice to have a post with all of them in, it's funny seeing time passing like this, I do not know where 2013 has gone, but it's been a pretty good year :).

My summer was ruled by pretty dresses and crop tops, thanks to the nice weather (I'm praying it will be the same this year) My faithful white converse are considerably less white than they were in April and my leather jacket is clearly a staple all year round! I also think my hair has grown a bit, what do you think?

I don't really have a favorite outfit but I do have some contenders; I felt so lovely in my wedding outfit and I'm looking for an excuse to wear the dress again, you know when you just have something that you feel really nice in, not in a vain way or whatever but it just makes you feel happy? well that was it. I also love the denim pinafore and mickey mouse crop top combo and am going to have to wear it again this summer! I also really like my monochrome checked dress so I'm sure I'll get a lot of wear out of that outfit.

I'll definitely  do one of these posts again this time next year, doesn't time just fly!?

Do you have a favourite outfit of mine? Are you doing one of these posts? (I would love to read it!)

P.s ; I have now hit 285 followers which I honestly can't quite believe. I want to do another giveaway when I reach 300 so thank you to everyone who is following me now!
