Top five: The spring pink lip.

Hello everyone, I hope your having a lovely Saturday,
I am just so glad that we have our Easter break! Plus it's my birthday on Monday, I'm far too excited for a girl who is about turn 16...

It's no secret that I love a pink lip, whether it's muted or bright, glossy or matte, you can bet your bottom dollar that I will love it. As it is now well and truly spring, I have complied my top 5 selection, I hope there's something for everyone!

-The `my lips but better` pink-

This Rimmel Apocalips has been my go to for sometime, I absolutely love it. It is just perfect when you want all the attention to be on your eyes, but still want a pretty lip colour. The formula I haven't always been a fan of, I find they can be a little heavy, but only when I apply too much, nothing a gentle hand can't cope with! I would describe the actual shade as a dark rose, you can see it well here, but it's nothing overpowering so is perfect for an understated spring look.

-The glossy pink-

Revlon lip butters are one of my favorite high street favorites, this shade is the perfect glossy pink and because of its balm like feel is great just to slick on without having to worry about it being neat or the colour fading. I would say it is the sheerest of the five, so would be great if you are a little scared of a bright lip and want to ease yourself in. Also, how sweet is the name!

-The luxury pink-

Ah, MAC, how you thrill me. This is still my one and only MAC lipstick (hopefully not for long) and I love it dearly. The only way I can describe Pink Nouveau is as a bright pastel. I find it has fab whitening and brightening properties and makes for a lovely pop of colour without being too much. It's a satin finish so is super smooth on the lips and lasts forever.

-The matte pink-

This is one of my favorite lip products; Cream puffs, despite being matte are not drying and have the most goregous velvety texture, plus it stays put all day. This shade is the prettiest pink that will honestly suit everyone, and it's a snip at just £2.99.

-The bright pink-

Finally is the bright pink. I'm a huge fan of a bold lip, and this shade is just the product for the job. It's such a lovely fuchsia, making your teeth look noticeably whiter. As with all the Kate Moss for Rimmel lipsticks, it's a fab formula, really moisturizing.

Are you a fan of a pink lip for spring? Which one of my picks is your favorite?

Review: Kate Moss lasting perfection lipsticks.

Hello everyone,
 I haven't done a review in forever, not since this one in fact, so I thought it was high time I did! This post is going to be on some of my favourite lipsticks :)

As you can see, I have three shades, and I bet you can guess which one I've had the longest!

I love these lipsticks, for a start, I'm quite partial to a bit of Mossy (although I do think models are just clothes hangers I might add) so I think its fab that she developed the shades.  Also the formulation is spot on, quite matte but not intensely drying and they last hours. They also smell amazing, just like those cherry sweets!

20.  110.  01.
I bought the two shades on the right about a week ago, so have been even more smitten with these lipsticks than ever! One thing that does annoy me is that they don't have names, I just love it when products are called something cute like `pink punch`, is that just me?

Anyway! The pinkest colour is shade 20;

How pretty is it! I adore this colour, it's so vibrant but still really wearable (i've got it on now!) and I think this is the perfect summer lippie. It also reminds me of the blogger favourite `Candy yum yum` from MAC although perhaps not quite as neon. You can see me wearing this in an outfit post here :).

The other one I bought recently was 110;

I don't really have any coral lipsticks so this was readily welcomed into my collection. It's just so lovely ! A lot more effortless that 20 I feel, and the best if you want attention to be more on your eyes. I think this would look so lovely with a simple white dress, tan sandals and gold eye makeup.

Lastly is the first one I bought from this range, the aptly numbered 01;

This is one of my favorite reds, its that classic 50's,  vintage colour and I just love it. I'm forever pairing it with my winged liner to really get that look!

These lipsticks are only £5.49 which is a total steal for the finish and wear time, I also bought mine in the recent `buy one get one half price` deal in Boots , so even more of a bargain! Next on my wish list are 107  and 103 :)

Have you tried these Lipsticks? What's your favourite shade?
