July favourites.

Howdy y'all, happy Sunday!
It's time for my monthly favourites, and I know I literally say this every month but where did July go?
Anyway, as always, we shall start with my beauty favourites;

Everything seems to be very pink this month but we'll go with it!

-Maybelline 24 hour colour tattoo in` Pink gold`-

Lately I have been getting a lot more into eyeshadow, and this colour tattoo makes an amazing base. It says but for ages and is such a pretty colour. I also think the packaging feels very luxurious (you can't beat glass casing!) and it looks really nice in my collection :)

-Collection eyeshadow pencil in `Vintage blush 3-

This product goes with the first one really, blended together they look so nice! Collection have some real gems at the moment and I'm eager to pick up some more of these. This is the ultimate lazy girls product because you can literally draw in onto your eye, blend it out slightly and you're good to go!

-Maybelline the Rocket volum' mascara-

I've had this mascara for a little while now and at first I didn't really get on with it. I found it made my lashes clumpy and always smudged under my eyes after a few hours wear. This month however I have been loving it! I think the trick is to build it up slowly in layers, rather than doing several coats at once.

-Collection shimmer shades blush in` Blushalicious-

Next up is another Collection product. I have been reaching for this blush over my faithful Sleek ones more often than not this month. I just adore the shades, individually as well as swirled together, they create that perfect peachy/ pink summer glow!

-Models own nail polish in `Bubblegum`-

This is a bit of a cheeky one because I bought it in the last few days of July, but I have fallen head over heels in love with it! I put this on as soon as I got in home and just like that I was smitten; the perfect pop of neon pink.See it on my nails in my next OOTD :)

-Vera Wang Princess perfume-

Ah, Vera Wang Princess. This is my favourite perfume, and I haven't worn it in ages because I really don't want it to run out! I went to a wedding at the start of July, and decided to wear this. The problem was I couldn't resist it for the rest of the month!

-Nivea lip butter in `Caramel cream`-

I've had this lip butter for a while now, but I managed to lose it so I've only really just been able to use it! I love putting this on before I go to bed because the result is super soft lips in the morning :)

-Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick in the shade `20`-

I have been love love loving this lipstick lately!  I just adore the vibrancy of the shade and the consistency of the lipstick. I love a bold lip and this has definitely ticked that box for me, read a review here :)

-MAC lipstick in ` Pink Nouveau -

I bought this lippie all the way back in April, and although I liked it, I didn't actually wear it much, but not this month! Me and my sister have also established than MAC lipsticks smell exactly like Krispy Kreme doughnuts. Yum.

Now for last months media favourites;

First up is the wonderful Tom Odell's album Long way down.

I adore Toms haunting voice and the piano that features heavily in his music. If you are not sure who he is, Tom received the Critics choice BRIT award, and he recently released a single called Another love which you might have heard, thats the song that sparked my love for his music! My favourites from this album include `I know`, `hold me` and `Can't pretend` :)

A book I enjoyed this month was `My brother simple`. It is basically about two brothers, one of which is disabled and the way people react to them when they move into a shared house. I found the characters really realistic and I loved the way it was written.

I watched Romeo and Juliet again this month and I reminded myself why it's one of my favourite films! I actually quite like Shakespeare, so that with a young Dicaprio, and I'm sold!

Now admittedly, I'm still a bit confused by the end of this story, but I enjoyed it nonetheless! Its about a man looking back on one summer, a summer he falls in love, but the one he likes turns out not to be who they seem. You will just have to read it and make up your own mind!

Sensing a bit of a 90's theme with my film choices? Clueless is another one of my favourite films (I'm literally always quoting it :p )  and it just cheers me up when ever I watch it. I seriously want Cher's wardrobe though...

First up in my clothing favourites is the dress I wore to the wedding (see my OOTD here!) When I bought this dress, I liked it, but I didn't love it. However that all changed when the wedding rolled around! I think once I had everything to go with it, I felt happy with it. You know when you just feel really nice in something, not in a vain way or whatever, just when something makes you feel good, well thats this dress :)

And lastly is another dress; I bought this one back in April but due to the heatwave we experienced last month, I have worn this non stop! See my OOTD here.

So thats it for another month! I feel like I have been on holiday for ever but its only been two weeks :p. I went to buy some school stuff earlier today, its going to be so weird wearing an actual uniform, blazer and all! I hope your all having a lovely Sunday :)

There's just two days left to enter my giveaway so make sure you do!

What do you think of my favourites?

Collective haul: H&M, Primark, Boots, Superdrug.

Hello everyone :) This is a compilation of the things I have bought over the past few weeks, enjoy!

First up is the item I bought longest ago, which is this gorgeous skirt from H&M;

H&M Geo print skirt- £20.00

I saw this skirt in store and just fell in love! I adore the geometric print and the silky material. It's not quite a skater skirt because it doesn't sit on my waist, so I think it's more of an A-line mini. Twenty pounds is a lot for a skirt but I think get a lot of wear out of this!

I also recently went to Primark with my Mum and sister. I didn't actually see a tonne I liked, but what I bought I love.

This is my favourite thing I picked up; it's just a basic cami shape, but I am obsessed with the blue and black contrast! I already know how I want to wear this so look out for an OOTD!

Primark contrast cami- £4.00

Next up is  just a basic really, I think this will still look good in autumn because it's monochrome! I love the aztec print and how it hangs on.

Primark aztec sleeveless top- £5.00

I seem to pick up another pair of these bed shorts every time I go to Primark now. I love the print on these ones, they are defo Cath Kidston/granny chic/vintage inspired!

Primark floral bed shorts- £3 or £4

I love the lace trimming at the hems, so cute!

I actually picked up some jewelry this trip which I haven't done in a while in Primark. They seem to go through phases of having loads or nothing at all that I like.
I'm loving turquoise at the moment, so I thought I would get this pendant to incorporate it into some outfits! This was really cheap so I couldn't really say no :)

Next up were these really lovely earrings;
Primark blue and gold earrings- £1.50
I love this colour blue! Its so pretty with the gold edging.

I also bought a little floral crown, I wanted one of the bigger ones (thats literally like a crown) but they didn't have any!

Primark floral crown- £2.50
I also went to Boots and Superdrug on another trip. My main aim was to buy one of the Maybelline Baby lips which have finally been released in the UK , but my Boots isn't stocking them :( I really hope they do in the future but the lady I went up to said they wouldn't be *cries*. However, all was not lost, because I got my hands on the other things I was after!

I saw online that Models own had a three for two on, so I took full advantage!
The first shade I picked up this crazily bright pink called `Bubblegum` from the Iced Neon collection;

Models own nail polish in `Bubblegum`-£5.00
Oh my god, I LOVE this colour! I put it on as soon as I got home on my fingers and toes and it just looks so lovely! It's super vibrant and just screams summer. The wear time is also amazing, I've had it on since Sunday without a top coast and there's not a chip in sight!

The second colour I went for is one I have had my eye on for a while. Indian ocean is part of the Beetlejuice  collection and is such a gorgeous polish!

Models own nail polish in `Indian ocean`- £5.00
I painted a friends nails with this and it looked so lovely :) I'm glad it's not going to end up being a top coat because often I find polishes like this don't give a proper, solid finish.

The final shade is Hedonist from the Hed Kandi range;
Models own nail polish in `Hedonist`- £5.00
I love this shade! I've seen it bobbing around in the blogosphere and I knew it had to be mine! My sister also has a shade from this range called Disco Heaven which I think would look amazing over this :)

With my Boots points I decided to purchase a new mascara;

I have always heard pretty good things about this Mascara so I'm looking forward to giving it ago, it was only £4.99 (or free in my case!) so I'll be interested to see how it compares to the other Maybelline mascara's.

I was going to get this is Boots but it was typically sold out, so I turned to Superdrug and they did not fail me! I've been wanting a new blusher brush for ages so of course I went with real techniques :)

Finally, I also purchased a new cream blush from Look beauty;

I decided on the shade `Melon` and I love it! I was worried it would be very similar to my Topshop cream blush in `Head over heels` (which is gorgeous by the way) but it's actually much pinker.

So thats everything I've bought recently, what do you think of my purchases?

Don't forget to check out my giveaway
