That kind of luxe just ain't for us, we crave a different kind of buzz.

OOTD #29

Hi everyone, I thought I'd share my outfit for a shopping trip on saturday, I'm loving tartan at the moment!
I'm so sorry for the lack of posts this week, I have been so busy with school and everything.

Earrings- River Island
Top- Primark
Jacket- ASOS
Bag- Matalan
Watch- Olivia Burton
Jeans- Primark
Converse- Office

As soon as I saw this top in Primark, I knew it had to be mine! I actually wish it wasn't a crop top (weird I know!) but it means it's not very practical for winter, no one wants a frozen, middle, so I think I'll have to wear this with skirts in the future. Anyway back to the top! I love the colour combination of red green and purple, it's actually really festive :)

I decided to wear one of favourite nail polishes for this time of year, H&M's `Blue my mind` with an accent nail called `Ocean` from a brand called La Femme Beauty.

My trusty white high tops went perfectly this outfit, all  though they are definitely not very white anymore!

My watch was also, as always, on.

I love these earrings, they are just really dainty and not like any of my others.

Please excuse my ghostly face and skin, it is at war with me at the moment.

I'm not at school today, the teachers are striking, so it's great for me!  I'm just using today to catch up on things really :)

What do you think of this outfit? What are you up to today?

October Primark haul.

Hi everyone,
last Saturday I went on a trip to primark to get a few things for autumn, I didn't actually see a massive amount that I liked, but they did have some things that I loved!

First up are these tights which I bought for halloween to wear with this dress.

They're meant to be over the knee, but on me they ended up being just below, however I'm sure they'll still do the job, they were really cheap as well so I can't really complain!

Another legwear oriented purchase were these socks;

These are so cute and I already know how I want to wear them, hopefully I can "rock my keds and tube socks" ;)

I've finally got round to buying a new pair of black jeans, my zara ones have seriously faded!

These are in the Topshop `Joni` style and are so comfy. They were a snip at £10 as well, I need to get a few more pairs I think!

This is one of my favourite purchases of late, I've been looking for a velvet skirt for a while and I finally found one!

The colour is so rich and for course it feels really luxurious being velvet. They also had this in a bottle green and navy so if red isn't your cup of tea I'm sure one of them would be!

If you read this post, you would have realised that I have a lot of love for tartan at the moment, hence the next two tops. As this is a monochrome piece, it is going to go with so much, and also, it's got a collar!

The other top I picked was this cropped one; I love the high neck and colours :) I've tried this on with the jeans and it looked so nice, so expect an OOTD soon!

Finally, I bought some new earrings;

I've already worn these non stop and I love the stud design :)

So that's what I bought in Primark!

What do you think of these items? What have you been buying lately?

Don't forget to enter my giveaway!

We're not lost, we're just finding our own way in the world.

OOTD #18

Alright me lovers? Hope you're all well.
It was my Dad's birthday on Sunday, and we ended up just going for a really nice , relaxed picnic at a place called Wimpole, the weather was glorious and it was just a really lovely day :)

Earrings- Miss selfridge
Top- Topshop
Watch- Olivia Burton
Jeans- Republic
Anklet-DIY
Flats - Primark

If you read my last haul then you would have seen this top, I obviously couldn't wait to wear it!

As I mentioned before, I'n not one for any kind of animal print, but I just love this little top! It's slightly cropped but with high waisted jeans its not really noticeable. It does have a lower neckline than I'm used to, but thats not really a problem for me!

I decided to wear a pair of my Primark flats with this outfit because I thought the tan colour went really nicely with my top, and I love the little laser-cut details!

I also found my favourite earrings! I lost one of these for ages but they have been reunited!

My watch was also of course on :)

My makeup and was pretty standard today, but nonetheless just how I like it!

I'll hopefully be picking up a few more bits for my giveaway soon, oh I can't wait!

What do you think of my outfit?

We were born with nothing and we sure as hell have nothing now.

OOTD #9
As promised, here is today's outfit :)
Earrings- Miss selfridge
Jacket- ASOS
Tshirt- Ebay (Topshop)
Watch-Olivia Burton
Jeans-Republic
Converse-Office

I've just been at a drama rehearsal today, so I just went casual :)

This top is one of my best Ebay bargains, it was only about £3.99 and is originally Topshop. It's actually one of my favourite tshirt's, because I find it's just really easy to style and goes with everything, and of course, it's Batman!

I'm also wearing my favourite pair of jeans, even if I do buy a pair of Topshop Joni's, I'm sure these will always have a special place in my heart :p.

White Converse again, call me unadventurous, but I just love these shoes. they've actually stayed pretty white as well!

I decided to match my nails to my tee (sad I know!) and this models own one goes perfectly, it's in the shade `Lemon meringue,` just in case you were wondering :)

To be honest, I can't not wear my watch now, it just doesn't feel right!

I actually straightened my hair today, first time ever in an OOTD! I just fancied a change from my usual waves really. I'm wearing a random rimmel lip liner as well, because I wanted a more matt red on the old lips  today :). Also, what's up with the weather?! Yesterday I did my paper round in lashing rain and strong winds, and today it's a balmy 17 degrees, I just hope it stays like this for the rest of the week!

I hope you're all having a lovely saturday so far, and here's to a week of blogging! *raises mug of  tea and takes a bit of lemon cake*

What kind of posts would you like to see? (let me know in the comments!)

Wishlist #2

It's time for another wishlist! I haven't done one for a very long time, so this is long overdue. I'm currently really craving some summery weather, so some bits are pretty optimistic for the current climate!

  -Fashion union Striped crop top

Firstly, I don't really like having pictures on my blog with the model in the photo (I think it's just nicer to have only the item of clothing,) but a)  this top didn't look great on it's own, and b) I really like the way this has been styled with the drapey necklaces! As you may have noticed, I have a bit of an obsession with crop tops, and I really want to add this one to my collection! It's only £8, which I think is really good because this is a really basic, statement piece. I also had  a striped crop top in my last wishlist, must just be something about them!

-Fashion union NYC tshirt

Back to the white background! Fashion union is an online shop that I really love,  but I don't really hear much about, let me know if you ever shop there ! Anyway, onto this top!I really love all the sport motifs that are flying about at the moment, and bottle green is one of my favorite colours, so really this is a win win piece for me! It's a tad pricey for a tshirt, £15 to be precise, but the material looks nice and thick and I can see my self getting a lot of wear out of it.

-Topshop Joni jeans

I love a good pair of jeans; denim, acid wash, coloured, patterned. Shockingly, I don't own any Topshop ones! and I think its about time I do. I've heard a lot about these Joni jeans and as I do prefer a high waisted cut so these I think are perfect for me! The colour is super summery and it will be nice to ad a lighter denim hue to my wardrobe.

I absolutely love the Real Techniques brushes. I have the core collection and the stippling brush and I'm eager to expand! I getting more into eye shadow at the moment and I think this set will really help :) obviously the quality is amazing and price is great, these are actually five pounds cheaper on amazon at the moment so I may have to purchase!

-New look Crochet shorts-

These shorts are so pretty! I love the simple edition of crochet which really transforms these otherwise quite boring shorts. There a bargain at £19.99, when you think of that compared to Topshop prices!

So that's what I'm lusting after at the moment :) whats on your wish list?

We were caught up and lost in all of our vice's.

OOTD #7
Hello everyone, I just want to get my sorry's out of the way now, I haven't blogged since last Saturday! What is this? So I'm really trying my hardest to get back on the metaphorical blogging horse this week :)

So, I have an outfit post for you lovely lot today. Me and my family went up to London on sunday to celebrate my mum's birthday; we went to see the Roy Lichtenstein exhibition in the Tate modern , and then had an amazing meal there afterwards :)  But anyway, enough of that, you're here to see what I wore!

Jacket- Asos
Necklace- Mum's :)
Earrings- Primark
Crop top- Topshop
Ring- H&M
Jeans- H&M
Converse- Office

Firstly can I just apologise for how tired/awkward/PALE I look in the above pictures, I am seriously going to have to fake tan this summer, because the whole  `Caspar the Ghost` look really isn't doing it for me!

I've worn this crop top in an OOTD before, what can I say? I just love it! I find it really does go with everything, I love the simplicity of it and just the fit in general,  I'm going to be wearing this to death I can tell you! I really hope Topshop bring out some more summery colours soon.

I have been wanting to wear these jeans since I got them for my Birthday, and they have finally had their first outing! I think their really simple in principle, but really do make a bold statement :) I did get  few weird looks from some old ladies in London , but oh well! I really love them, but I'm sure their not to everyones taste.

I have my current favourite nail polish on as well, H&M `Blue my mind` I'm not quite feeling springy enough for pastels, so this almost neon cornflower blue is my answer and the moment :)

I didn't want to wear too much jewelry with such loud trousers on, so I just went with a simple pair of stud earrings and a little gold  ring:

But of course I'm wearing my Mum's necklace, Converse and watch again!

What do you think of my outfit? Are these jeans your cup of tea?

All around the world, people want to be loved.

 OOTD #1

Happy Saturday! Its been a long, stressful week. I found out yesterday that I attained an A* and an A in my January science exams! I was so happy and relived because I thought I hadn't done well at all ;yay!

Ive had quite a lazy day, I randomly went to Matatlan with my mum & sister, I would do a haul but I didn't get anything very exciting ( just some new underwear and a few pairs of leggings.)
Anyway! onto my outfit:

Coat- Fashion union
Top- Topshop
Jeans- Republic
(completely battered!) Vans- Office
Socks-H&M

This was just centred around being comfy today. I have lived in these jeans lately ( no doubt you'll be seeing more of them!)I love the colour and fit, they go with everything.

I've had this T-shirt for a little while now, but I wear it at every opportunity, I had been um-ing and ah-ing over it, but I deiced it needed it,even though it was quite pricey. I just love the pattern, I adore vintagey/old fashioned things, so I loved the old atlas print! I just think its really unique and goes with loads.

I've kept my make up quite neutral today. I'm wearing a Bourjois nail polish, annoyingly it doesn't say the colour, but its a gorgeous coral with gold flecks in it. I haven't really gone bold any area on my face ( I normally like bright lips and cat flicks!) but its nice to change it up sometimes.

I thought I would share with you some proof that spring is on its way from my garden!

How have you spent today?
