April 2014 on There's something about Alice.

Hello everyone,
How on earth are we in the fifth month of 2014? April was a lovely month, I had my 16th birthday, Easter break and the weather has been pretty good. I have however obviously been gearing up for all my exams (my first one is next Monday- send help) but to be honest, they have been spoken about so many time for so long it feels a little as though they are never actually going to happen, anyone else feel the same?

Anyway, I loved blogging this April, I just wish i could have done more of it!

Your favourite post-
This months most read was my`Eyes are open finally ` OOTD (if you're wondering what song it is, watch this video and you will understand my obsession) I wore this for my birthday meal with my friends, so I'm so glad you guys liked it!

My favorite post-
My favourite this moth was probably the outfit I wore on my actual Birthday, I adore the dress and I just felt really nice in it.

My favorite blogger-
This month I have been obsessed with What Olivia Did. I have loved Liv's blog for forever, but this moth my girl crush levels went even higher! Her style is faultless and every post seems to have had so much love and attention put into it.

So there we have it, April rounded up!

What have you been up to lately? Did you have a favorite April post?

Lifestyle: Snippets from my 16th birthday.

Hello everyone,
As promised, here are some pictures I snapped whilst we were in London for my birthday on Monday. I ment to take more, but I always get sidetracked and end up forgetting... I had the loveliest day so I hope you guys enjoy this post!

As I'm sure you can tell, one of this things we did was go up the Shard. If you are not from the UK then you might be wondering what on earth I'm on about, but the Shard is basically a relatively new building (it was finished in 2012) and is the tallest building in Europe, measuring a whopping 1016ft.up. One of my mum's friends gave us a voucher to go up it for Christmas, and we figured my birthday was the perfect opportunity to use it! The actual view from up there was incredible; Tower bridge and Big Ben look like they were part of a little wooden play set, and all the buses just seemed adorable. The perspective of all the tall buildings around us was totally distorted as well which mad it all feel a little surreal. One thing I did like was that I felt totally secure, and for someone without the best head for heights that was a big plus. I would definitely recommend this as something to do in the city, and it's not too touristy!

After that, it was defiantly time for lunch; we hit up Bella Italia just off Covent Garden, I went for Calamari to start and then had the Gamberoni pasta, two of my favorites. Next a spot of shopping was in order, we visited Carnaby street which was pretty underwhelming I'm sorry to say, but it was nice to have a stroll about. I did pop into Monki though (that store is so pretty) and picked up some pieces I really love. I was however disappointed that there was no Brandy Melville in sight, the reason I really wanted to go there! Have you been into that store? Then we set foot on Oxford street. Oh Oxford street; now I love you and loathe you. The shops are fab, but the constant press of people and the noise had started to get to me buy this stage. Oh and the girls in Topshop took snobbishness to the next level! By then it was definitely time for a cup of tea, and with a Colin the Caterpillar cake safely purchased form M&S we put our feet up for a little while. Sadly it was home time then, but the trains all ran in our favor and the journey was very pleasant!

I had a lovely birthday, and it was made all the more lover buy all of your sweet comments on my last post- thank you!

Life through my lens #5.

Hi everyone, I hope you've had a good Saturday,
Mine has been spent doing homework and tiding my room - fun non? I am going to Nando's tomorrow though, so that will make up for it!

This update has a distinctly red theme which I think makes it pretty aesthetically pleasing! This goes back to Christmas and new year which were both lovely, but that also means the return to school which I can't say was quite so thrilling, it could be worse, but this is my last full term so time is of the essence.

Christmas eve calls for new pajamas and a hot water bottle <3// Snapping away for the blog// Love the Lush Star Light Star Bright bath melt (review here) so pretty!// We bought a blender, so of course we had a make milkshakes//  I'm actually addicted to homemade popcorn- so good//  Reading Company's Paris issue *dreams dreams dreams*//  Me and the sister on the train to London//  Isabella blow: Fashion Galore! was amazing- would you like to see a post on it?// Krispy Kreme is what dreams are made of

So that's what I've been up to lately - not a bad start to January! I am getting increasingly excited about my prom, it's still not until summer but I can't help it! If you know any good prom dress shops in London or the Bucks area or any good places online please do let me know :)

So that's what's been going down with me lately, I have a week of mock exams next week, thrilling times I'm sure you'll agree, so I'm basically just doing revision and homework 24/7, boo! I have got some things to look forward too, a few of my friends have birthdays coming up so they'll be some good times then, and guess what guys? It's less than a month until Christmas!

Hi everyone,
I, like a lot of bloggers, adore photography, and while I'm no Annie Leibovitz, to me you simply can't beat whipping out a camera (whether that be on your phone or on something far snazzier) and capturing things you love.
I have decided to share some snaps from my life lately with you lovely lot and hope to make this far more regular; because lets face it, who doesn't love a snoop over somebodies Instagram feed or a flick through their photo albums!
