PROM.

Hello my loves,
I'm going to keep this intro short because I don't think this post needs much explaining My prom was on Friday night, and it was just lovely. Our transport was fab, the venue was  fab and everyone honestly looked stunning.

Dress- Dusk till dawn
Shoes- New look
Bag- Next
Ring and bracelet- Pandora
Earrings- My granny's
Necklace- My mum's

Ahh, the dress! I have been wanting to show you all my choice for the evening for so long. I bought my one in a relatively local store in olney called Dusk till Dawn. As soon as I tried it on I knew I'd found the dress I loved to bits. I just adore the shape of it, I think the way it falls is so flattering and the little pleats at the back are so pretty. I obviously love the sparkly bodice too! I think the fact that it has pink, silver and rose gold tones to it makes it nice and interesting. I found the sweetheart neckline flattering despite not having the most going on in the bust department!

My shoes are from New Look, now this picture does them no justice what so ever, but each of the little gem-y bits are iridescent (like my earrings and bag) and caught the light so beautifully. I kept my accessories on the theme of silver, pearls and the two-tones gems. As you can see, the heel is pretty high, but because it has the platform at the front, they were actually ok to walk in, I like that they are not too chunky either.

Me and my mum were looking through some of my granny's jewelry boxes, and as soon as I saw these I knew they would be perfect- I must have actually yelped with excitement!

I got my nails done for the first time for prom, I can see why it would get addictive! I went for french manicure gels with a top coat that has the tiniest amount of glitter. I will be interesting to see how long they last, it should be two to three weeks, I don't know if I can have have them the same for that long though! My clutch is from Next and I had enough room to bring all the essentials, that being my phone, little camera, powder and brush, lip-gloss and money, plus a few rouge Polaroid pictures! The sparkles on this bag match that of my shoes exactly, I was really lucky to find something that matched so well.

This necklace was a gift to my mum from one of her friends, how gorgeously delicate is it? It broke up the space between my neck and the dress perfectly, whilst also running with the pearl theme.

I also wore my Pandora ring and bracelet, they always make me feel so well put together when I wear them both!

I had my makeup done at the YSL counter in Debenhams was such a nice experience! The lady doing my makeup was so lovely, even though she was totally rushed off her feet! We went for a gold smokey eye, and peach cheeks and lips.

I had my hair put up in the hairdressers as well, it's actually quite different to what I had in mind, but I think it does look super pretty at the back! We got the little hairpins from the dress shop and they are literally the exact same colour to the dress. You can see the low back it has here too, I love the pleats so much.

We had the most amazing transport! We were actually struggling to find anything, so this really way a gem. We found it through the Vintage Limousine hire, if you live in the Bucks/Beds are I would totally recommenced them, our driver took us for a spin for a while and put up with I whooping and/ore screaming every time someone waved back at us.

How beautiful do my girls look?! It was just lovely seeing my whole year dressed up, and I have to say,we scrub up rather well!

All in all it was such an amazing night, the prom was fab, the after party so fun and I after that me and one of the besties stayed up talking until seven; it was perfect!

What do you think of my prom outfit? Have you had your prom yet?

Down on the west coast, they love their icons.

OOTD #48

Hi my loves,
I hope you've had a good week, mines been the start of all my exams; stressed is not the word!
This is what I wore on a recent day trip to Bath with my family. I am obsessed with this co-ord set (I know it looks like a dress in these pictures, but trust me it's a skirt and a top!)  and I know I'm going to get so much wear out of them.

Jacket- ASOS
Top - New look
Skirt- New look
Sandals- New look (here
Ring- Pandora
Watch- Olivia Burton (here)

One thing that really drew me to this set is the print, I love the colours and palm print has been everywhere lately. New look have had some gorgeous pieces in at the moment as well! I annoyingly couldn't find this set online, but it might still be in stores.

I'm wearing a maybeliine polish in Coral Craze and is is such a lovely bright colour, it lasts my week long chip test too!

Another recent New look purchase was these cleated sandals. Ever since I read this post on Becca rose's lovely blog, I knew I needed a pair! I have to say they are super comfortable and literally go with everything.

My watch was on as always, god I love it!

Above is a sleepy Alice; tired from a long day of food, charity shopping and laughing is the best tried to be though!

What have you been up to lately? What do you think of this outfit?

All the ways I got to know, your pretty face and electric soul.

OOTD #30

Hi everyone, I hope you're well.
This is what I wore to a friends sixteenth birthday meal last saturday, I really wish the skirt was longer on this dress, it looked longer online, but I still like this outfit over all!

Earrings- Primark
Leather jacket- ASOS
Chain- Primark
Dress- Ark
Midi ring- River Island
Watch- Olivia Burton
Tights- Tesco
Boots- New Look

I love the 60's feel to this dress and thought it looked really nice with just a simple gold chain as well as my stud earrings, both from good old Primark!

keeping with the gold jewelry theme, I went for my favourite River Island midi ring. On my nails, I wore Barry M's `Red wine` such a classic shade and one of my all time favourites for autumn.

Now onto my favourite new addition to my wardrobe, my New Look boots. I adore the cut-out and buckle detail and the height is just perfect for me. They're pretty casual so I expect you'll be seeing a lot more of them!

I thought my watch was a fab extra for this outfit; I love the contrast between black and tan leather!

My makeup was pretty standard, mainly just my usual cateye liner paired with my new favourite lipstick Kate Moss for Rimmel `107`, a Blogger classic!

So far this half term I've just been pretty chilled, I went to London on Saturday and yesterday was just a lazy one, what half terms are made for if you ask me! I wasn't really affected by this storm the media has been going on about for days, I hope none of you have been either!

What do you think of this outfit? What have you been up to this half term?

Howdy everyone,
I hope you're all enjoying your summer holidays, and if you're not off, then you're enjoying your life generally! Sorry if this is a bit of a cop out of an OOTD, but I really wanted to share a picture of my wedding outfit with you :)

Fascinator- Accessorize
Earrings- River Island
Dress- Miss Selfridge
Bracelet- Gift (Miss selfridge)

It was such a beautiful wedding; the sun was shining but it wasn't to hot or muggy, the venue was incredible at it was so lovely to catch up with people we haven't seen for years.

Haul: Wedding make up and accessories.

Hiya sweets,
Oh summer holidays how I love thee... I'm now off for six weeks! *does a little dance*

Tomorrow, one of my Mum's closest friends is getting married, so that obviously means a wedding! I haven't been to one since I was four, I was the cute little bridesmaid :)
Anyway, pack to present day! I wrote this post awhile ago, outlining how desperate I was to find a pair of shoes, but I now have everything sorted; hurrah!

As you can see, I'm going for a distinctly pink theme! My dress the the only thing not included in this haul, this is it but in a nude-y pink shade :)

So, starting with my shoes. There was a bit of a saga to find these; I originally ordered the ones I featured in the my earlier post from ASOS but they were literally crippling! My poor little toes were completely squished wearing them for two minutes let alone an entire wedding so they had to be sent on their merry way, I guess somethings are eleven pounds in the sale for a reason! After being pretty put out because this were definitely not right, me and my mum went shopping the next day and found these beauts;

So pretty! I don't really wear heels at all, so I can't walk in anything that is the size of the empire state building very high, but these are perfect for my inexperience feet!
They're such a pretty pink shade and I'm sure I'll wear these if I fancy dressing up to go out or whatever :) They're from Deichmann and only £14.99!

I also had a bit of trouble finding a clutch I liked (talk about pointless 1st world problems, blimey!) but I decided to go for this offering from New Look;

I adore the roes gold details from the studs and the chain, and just the overall feel of the bag. It's big enough for all my bits and pieces without being OTT (just thought I'd let you know I actually typed OOTD then, oh the blogger in me!) It was a bargain at £12.99 as well.

This is properly my favourite thing in this haul;

Just look at it! I was admiring this a few weeks ago in Accessorize but A) I didn't have my dress with me to check how the colour went and B) It was something crazy like £40 at full price, yikes. However, when I went in the next weekend, low and behold I had my dress and they had a sale on. In short, it was the perfect colour and half price, high five for waiting a week! These pictures really don't do it justice, but take it from me;  it's a work of blumin' art.

Now onto make up, obviously I have the rest of my makeup collection to play with and help create the perfect look, but I knew there were a few things I needed! As I said, I'm thinking pink, so that's really what I went for.
I've wanted to try one of these 24 hour colour tattoo's for an age, so I though this was a great time to pick one up. This is my favourite shade from the range, I just wish they had more neutrals, because sadly I'm not a purple or turquoise girl!

I also picked up a new Collection why is it not still 2000 product. It was on offer for £2.50 so I couldn't resist because I love an eye-shadow stick. My plan is to wear this all over the lid and they have to colour tattoo in the outer corner and crease. I've tried it out and I think it looks pretty good!

As it is a wedding I'm going to, I thought it might look a bit weird wearing heaving winged liner *cries* For this reason, I deiced a pair of eyelashes was in order, just so that my eyes don't disappear into the vortex of time. Now I've never really worn eyelashes, I've tried some out before but never actually worn them. I've always heard great things about Eylure so I figured they were the brand to go with. I didn't want an extremely dramatic pair so I went for these. With lashings of mascara hopefully I won't miss my eyeliner too much!

The next two products are more essentials than specifically for the wedding, one of them being the Rimmel stay matte powder;

This is a blogger favourite and although I'm not sure it totally lives up to the hype, it is fine for a basic powder. I mean a powder will only ever be a powder!

I also popped a new concealer into my basket. I find my favourite collection one really drying so I thought I would try something new, in the form of this . I really like it at the moment, let me know if you would like to see a review :)

The last item I purchased was this lipstick, sadly, I don't really like it! When I swatched it on my hand it looked like an actual solid colour but on the lips it's more of a pearlescent shade. Well, if you know me,  you should know that I am not a fan of anything shiny on my lips, I much prefer a matte finish. However, I am going to make the best of it and wear it over my trusty pink cream puff; lip situation saved!

I'm getting my haircut in a bit so I will be 100% ready! But if they do more than a `trim` I might cry... Anyway, I obviously won't be able to post tomorrow but I'll try and get some decent picture of my outfit :)

What do you think of my purchases? Are you going to a wedding this summer?
