One skirt, three ways

Your favorite post- This moths most read (discounting my giveaway) was my pin-board DIY;

I had so much fun doing this so I'm glad you guys liked it as well. Its super easy and low cost so make sure you give it a go too!

My favorite post- My favorite has to be this months face of the day, it's the look I have bee wearing 24/7 so I obviously really like it!

My favourite blog- This month I have been obsessed with Charlotte's blog Things I do, think and buy. Her sense of style is flawless and I get a sense of serious wardrobe envy every time I read a post of hers! She also seems like an all round lovely lady, and I honestly look forward to reading her posts.

Pin-board DIY.

Hi hi everyone! 

This Friday I have a little DIY post for you. Some of you might remember that I mentioned in my Charity shop finds #2 post that I recently picked up a pin-board for just £1! I've wanted one for an age, so last Saturday I got to work jazzing it up- here's what I did! 

You will need;

A pin board- for obvious reasons.

Scissors- in order to trim things down and cut the string.

String- to attach the board to the wall.

Wall fixings- see above.

Drawing pins- to add things to the board., but also to add to the back to fix to the wall.

Things to pin!

I'll cover the boring, `must be done things` first; turn your board to the side that will face the wall and knock two drawing pins into the frame on either side. Next pull out a length of string, cut it and wrap several times around the drawing pins on the back. Make sure there is enough so that it will hang nicely. Then you will need to add a fixing to the wall you want it to feature on. With that done, now you can get pinning! 

Obviously, the beauty of a pin-board is that you can add anything and everything and also change it up when you fancy it. Some examples of what I went for are;

Old Polaroids

Photo negatives

Pretty clothes tags and receipts

Print outs and newspaper clippings

Postcards

Stickers

Tickets

All you do now is arrange them nicely, pin them on and hang- et voila! 

I love it- I think it looks fab in my room and it cost next to nothing! 

Tomorrow is actually a really exciting day for me; it marks the one year anniversary of starting my blog! I am planning a giveaway which will hopefully be up tomorrow or Sunday to thank all of you- so keep your eyes wide open for that!

I'm not who I was last summer, not who I was in the spring.

OOTD #16

Hi guys! I hope your all doing well :) I've started my work experience this week so I'm pretty tired, my feet are killing me! But I am really enjoying it :) This is what I put on when I changed out of my uniform, I've been wanting to show you lovely lot this jumper on for ages now, so I hope you like it!

I love this jumper! Its so cosy without making me overly hot so it the perfect spring/ summer knit (not that we need to be worrying about that in Blighty at the moment...) It is much brighter in person which is a pretty weird thing for me, because I normally hate neons (they just remind me of `tammy girl` awfulness) but I'm super pleased with this item :)

I decided to pop this little sleeveless blouse underneath, so I could juts have the collar poking out, which I think works really nicely with jumpers like this. I also added a little chain, now I'm not really one for (what I consider) chavy chains like this, but I thought I would give it ago, this outfit is just full of adventure! It's actually a chain from a bag, just being resourceful :p

One of my lovely friends bought me this bracelet back from spain, I love the fact that it has clear beads, it goes with everything!

I thought the khaki would go nicely with the bright pink, so I decided on the blazers :)

My hair is just natural today; I just washed and blow-dried it the morning and then had it up all day!

I'm going to try to post more this week because I'm really enjoying blogging at the moment :) I'm so close to 50 followers on bloglovin now, so if you haven't already done so them please follow me, I have a giveaway planned for when I do! DIY Vouge door.

Hello lovelies, hope your all having a good week, I for one have been very busy!

Now I had been wanting to change my door decor for a while, and after seeing Imogen's post and her amazing looking  wall, I was feeling inspired and got to work. 

So basically, I just flicked through a few old copies of Vogue and identified all the designer adds I loved, making sure I choose a variety of black and white as well as coloured pages.

I then carefully cut them out with scissors and then ran over the jagged edge with this mini strimmer thing I have to make them completely neat and straight. 

Then all I did was blue-tack them up! I really love the overall effect, before I had celebrity posters up, which   I was never 100% keen on, so I love that this makes my room alot more grown up and bloggery! I now have some of my favourite brands and designers on my wall; Stella Mccartney, Vivienne  Westwood, Mulberry, Chanel and Marc Jacobs :).

This literally the easiest thing to do and is a great way to refresh a room easily, cheaply and changeably!   

I'm already thinking about doing a Company area elsewhere in my room :)

I hope this post has inspired you to dig out your old magazines and get cutting!
