March 2014 on There's something about Alice.

Hello everyone,
How on earth is it April?! 2014 is flying by so far, but what that does mean is that it's time for another monthly round up post. I'm pretty proud that I've managed 15 posts this March, that's practically one every other day, I think I managed a pretty good mix of content too!

Your favorite post- This moths most read (discounting my giveaway) was my pin-board DIY;

I had so much fun doing this so I'm glad you guys liked it as well. Its super easy and low cost so make sure you give it a go too!

My favorite post- My favorite has to be this months face of the day, it's the look I have bee wearing 24/7 so I obviously really like it!

My favourite blog- This month I have been obsessed with Charlotte's blog Things I do, think and buy. Her sense of style is flawless and I get a sense of serious wardrobe envy every time I read a post of hers! She also seems like an all round lovely lady, and I honestly look forward to reading her posts.

Do you have a favorite post of mine this month? Who's blog have you been loving lately?

Do you have a favourite post of mine this moth? What has been your favourite blog?

Life through my lens #7.

Hi everyone, it's time again for another Instagram round up!

I've been mainly just been steadily revising lately (thrilling I know) - I have imminent textiles and drama exams, so prep work and rehearsals are going into overdrive! I have taken some time to enjoy the sun we have for the last two weekends- everything is so much better when you can bask!

Makeup is so very photogenic (post here) // Proud of my DIY pin-board (post here) // Pancake day calls for Nutella // Beautiful new booties (buy here) // Dog walking with the bestie // Easing my way into spring colours- this Bourjois coral is so pretty // Bargain daisy dress (buy here) // Posing about- the daisy obsession continues (OOTD) // Starbucks and Company in the sun

I hope you're all doing well- I know a lot of us are gearing up for the exam season- I wish you all the very best results! I'm just looking forward to the long summer we have afterwards; it will hopefully keep me going in those exam halls. I'm off to watch the Great British Sewing Bee; it makes me feel all cosy inside!

What have you been up to lately?

Your lipstick stain is a work of art.

OOTD #40

Hello everyone, I hope you've all been enjoying the sunshine.
I for one have been mega busy today, what with revision and deciding to bake a carrot cake; I've just had the chance to sit and blog now!

Now I know what your thinking, `Alice, another post evolving daisies, really?` But I did say in this post that I was obsessed! I'm happy to say that I wasn't even remotely chilly wearing this yesterday, in fact I was happily sat in the sun sipping on Starbucks and flicking through Company.

Dress- Select
Midi ring- Primark
Watch- Olivia Burton
Tights- Tesco
Converse- Office

(I've started linking items I can find online, so check them out!^)

Last week, I popped into town to run a few errands, and my Mum suggested that we quickly take a look in Select. Normally, I don't see a thing I like in store; I don't think the quality is all that great, and frankly, most things look cheap- however when I saw this dress, it was love at first sight! You all know how I feel about daisies (and collars) so it really is perfect for me! The quality actually feels pretty good, and I will be wearing it all summer long. The best part I hear you ask? It cost me just £12.

I'm wearing an all time favorite nail polish of mine, Model's own Lemon Meringue, I must say I think it matched the daisies perfectly! A simple midi ring has become something I'm wearing lots at the moment, I love the subtle interest it can add to a look.

My beloved Olivia Burton was on (of course) doesn't it look pretty in the sun?

I wore my converse to keep it casual, but I think this dress would work just as well with a pair or brogues or wedges.
