For crying out loud, settle down.

OOTD #50

Hello everyone,
This is a little outfit I wore to go into school for a physics revision session (exciting times I know) but I actually ended up really liking it and am so glad that I never have to think about atoms again!

Top- Monki
Jeans- Topshop Joni
Necklace- Primark
Watch- Olivia Burton
Sandals- New Look

This top has become an absolute staple in my wardrobe and has furthered my love affair with stripes, which doesn't seem to be going anywhere anytime soon. It is a supper soft material and feels like lovely quality so I can keep wearing it to death! This necklace is the perfect one to throw on over anything just to jazz it up a bit. It was a total bargain of course being from Primani.

These New look sandals have because my go too pair of shoes when the suns been out and I just love them! They are not crazy high and because of the chunky heel really easy to walk in and super comfortable.

Of course I had my watch on, I love that Olivia Burton are now working with bloggers, those are some very lucky girls!

By the time you read this, I will probably be having my nails for prom done, them my makeup and hair, and finally the actual event itself! I am incredibly excited now and will share it all with you as soon as I can!

What do you think of this outfit? Is your prom soon?

Inspo no.2.

Hello everyone,
After my last inspiration post went down well (who doesn't love a page full of pretty pictures?) I thought I'd do another since I enjoy scrolling through Pinterest so much (read: too much.)

{All images from Pinterest}

Now I know that I am after a black floppy hat/over-sized fedora, but this post just makes me look like an obsessive, I didn't even realize how many of these images featured a hat! Also shoes, all I want in life at the moment seems to be in the form of footwear. I'm sure that means something. I can never get over how stunnign Audrey Hepburn was. I have major brow envy now too.

What's been inspiring you lately?

New clothing haul.

Oh dear, look who went shopping again... I really need to be barred from entering Primark! still, with the beauty of a paper-round this was all my own money being spent, so I didn't feel too guilty  :)

So first stop was obviously primark:

My name is Alice and I'm a crop top addict *hi Alice* sorry, but I'm afraid it's true, I really need to start buying full length tops again, I'm just going to be freezing when autumn rolls around at this rate! Anyway, I really like the tops I did pick up. I spotted this striped crop top for only about £4, so I thought I would add this basic to my collection. It's the same idea to the one on my last wishlist as well, and half the price!

I also popped this basic black crop top into my basket. I think t will look really nice with a statement necklace, or patterned bottoms, simply because it's totally plain. This was only £3 so I couldn't really say no.

For some strange reason I really couldn't photograph this, sorry!

Now onto my favourite purchase of the day, this gorgeous floral bralet! you may have already seen it on my instagram (alice_808), but I just love it. I love anything vintagey, so this floral print was a winner from the start and obviously I heart crop tops so this was literally made for me! just imagine how nice this will look with my denim skater skirt, literally can't wait to wear :)

I also bought another pair of the `cheeky shorts` because I really loved the last pair I bought. These also have Ice cream and sweets on them, whats not to love!

I also bought a pack of hair grips, boring but I always pick them up.

The last thing I bought from Primark was this gorgeous 50's inspired bikini set

I love the ruffles, the colour and the polka dots! Now I just need a time to wear it...

I was actually really disappointed with Primark's jewelry selection, I normally buy quite a few bits but I didn't see anything I liked. So the only other thing I bought was this delicate little top from H&M

Can you believe this was only £5? I think it looks a lot more expensive. I love the colour of this, a really milky lavender. the lace is really pretty and I think this will just look so nice with a bandeau and a pair of jeans and flip-flops for a really lovely casual summer look :)

What do you think of my most recent purchases?

Alice
