Empties #1

Hiya sweeties,
This is my first empties post! I've been keeping a bottles and everything for this for a while so lets get started!

Technically this shouldn't be in my empties, but we'll roll with it! We bought a L'Occitane set for my Mum for her birthday and this came in it. I was allowed to use this occasionally and boy is it nice! It makes the perfect amount of bubbles with just two cap fulls and leave your skin so soft when you get out of the tub. The scent is heavenly, and I'm not even one for lavender!

Would I repurchase it? Perhaps, it's pretty expensive, but I'd defo buy it for my mum again!

This Simple makeup remover is a total staple for me, I find its just so gentle on my eyes and removes everything so easily. I have slightly sensitive eyes so I'm not overly worried about using things on them, but I'm sure if you were concerned about irritation then you wouldn't have to worry with this!

Would I repurchase it? Of course! I was planning to replace it straight away but my Mum ended up buying me a Garnier one instead, we shall have to see how they compare.

I was gifted this in a set in Christmas and I loved it! It's basically the Tesco version of Soap and Glory but I don't mind that. This smelt AMAZING. Seriously, I think I prefer it to the S&G scent! This creates just the right amount of bubbles, and although it's not half as luxurious as the L'occitane bubble bath, it's just as enjoyable!

Would I repurchase it? I wouldn't go out of my way to, but I did love it!

When I finished this I was impressed and sure I would go on using it, but since I decided to buy the Rimmel Match Perfection foundation to replace it, I haven't looked back! I find it matches my skin tone much better and lasts alot longer. I did like this foundation, but I've found something much better.

Would I repurchase it? See above!

I'm sure you are aware that I want longer hair (who doesn't!) and I bought this conditioner , along with the rest of the range in the hope that it might speed up my the growth of my barnet. To be honest, I really don't like this conditioner. I found that unless I used the hair treatment thing beforehand, it did nothing for my hair. You know how a conditioner is meant to sort of sink into your hair and make it feel really soft and nourished? Well it looks like this products didn't get the memo. I mean its ok and perfectly pleasant, but it didn't condition my hair or seem to make it grow!

Would I repurchase it?I don't think so, unless the formula or something was changed!

I featured this primer in my June favourites, and I have loved it for a long time! If you haven't already, read that post to see why :)

Would I repurchase it? I already have, and will do forever!

This is another product I have already repurchased, I'm not so into hair products so I haven't tried that many heat sprays, but this one does the job perfectly.

It smells divine, protects my hair and leaves it super soft, so yeah!

Finally I have a perfume. Normally I would be sad to finish a perfume, but this one was about six pounds from Next, so there's no hard feelings :p I kept this in my school bag and always loved giving myself a spritz with it during the day :) This smells soo good, I actually really Next perfumes.

Would I repurchase it?I keep meaning to, so hopefully at some point!

And thats my first empties post!
Have you tried any of these products? What have you finished lately?

April favourites.

It's that time again for me to recap what I've been loving for the last month :)

-MUA Undress me too pallette-

As I've mentioned a few times before, I'm trying to get more into not just doing a simple flick of eyeliner, so I have been seriously loving this little palette! First off all, value for money, this wonderful little thing is just £4, which works out at roughly 33p per shadow! how crazy is that?! When the quality is so good, it simply baffles me how it can be so cheap! My favourite shades are `Shy`, a creamy nude with a subtle shimmer, `Reveal`, a lovely taupe colour, and `Devotion` a browny gold with a metallic finish. I think I'm going to have to buy the original now as well!

-Simple kind to skin refreshing shower gel-

My Mum bought me this a few weeks ago, because I needed some new shower gel, and initially  I was a bit like, oh, no scent! but actually, Its really nice not to be putting something perfumed onto my skin for once! It really is refreshing and leave my skin feeling so soft and smooth after I use it. I don't have particularly sensitive skin on my body, but I imagine if you do this would be really great as its so gentle.

-Balmi lip balm (mint)-

I had been wanting to try one of these for a very long time, and seen as they were half price when I bought it, (only £2.50!) I decided to get one :) I didn't really want the mint one, however I love it! It's quite nice not putting something sickly sweet onto my lips for a change! It also makes your lips go all tingly when you put it on, so it has a really nice cooling effect. I like to put this on in the morning before school, and its still on my lips by lunchtime, finally a lip balm that works! And finally, how cute is the packaging!

-Rimmel match perfection  foundation-

Where to start with this one! I absolutely love it! I bought this after I ran out of my bourjois healthy mix, and I honestly think this is better! It matches my skin tone really well and the wear time is excellent, whereas I found my old foundation would be going slightly patchy about half way through the day, this one stays put until I want to take it off! If you are looking for a new foundation or just want to try this out, I can highly recommend it :)

-Rimmel Apocolips in `Celestial`-

I bought three of the appocolips, and this is by far my favourite. It's the most wearable shade out of the ones I picked up, and I just love it! It's a really lovely toned down pink, that I find goes with practically everything.  I'm sure you have heard all the blogger hype surrounding these lip lacquers, and I can agree, they really live up to it!

-Batise original dry shampoo-

This is more of a new favourite than a new one. I wash my hair ever other day (I went through a stage of doing it everyday, and my hair actually suffered for it,) so I like to use this on my second day hair. It really does give it a bit more life, body, and helps it look non greasy, so it really does do what it does on the tin (can!) My sister and me get through this stuff pretty fast, I think we've probably try every scent now! I really like this one though, it reminds me of lemon sherbert! :)

So thats it for another month! what have you been loving lately?

Haul!

Seen as we have just had the Easter holiday, it means I've had plenty of time to shop! I have had Birthday money and have been saving up for about two months in order to go on  a bit of a spree, so this is what I have bought recently :)

On this trip I really wanted to buy some new clothes, but not much really caught my eye. However, as you  can see, I did much better in Boots and Superdrug!

Let me start with my new Converse :)

I had been wanting these for quite some time and have already worn them so much! They are pretty expensive for a pair of canvas shoes, but I personally think they are worth it as you get really do get great quality.I have a feeling these are going to be in a lot of OOTD's soon!

I also made some Mac purchases :) (my first can you believe it!) my lovely Lauren got me a Mac voucher for my birthday, which you can imagine went down pretty well!

I deiced to get a lipstick in the shade `Pink nouveau`

I love this colour so much! it's a perfect bubblegum pink, with out being too `in your face` I think this is going to look so gorgeous with so many colours, particularly white in the summer :)

I also picked up the much raved about `Fix +` to try

I've been really enjoying spritzing this onto my skin before applying my make up lately, and after if I'm looking a bit powdery :)

Boots had a 3 for 2 on (never good if your trying not to spend to much!) so I picked up some things I've been wanting for a while.

I recently ran out of my beloved Health mix foundation but fancied a bit of a change...

Step up Rimmel match perfection! This foundation is really good! I was dithering between this and the `Wake me up` one, but seen as I'm not really into foundation with a glowy/ dewy finish, I went for this, and I have to say I've been really loving it :) I found they also had a wide colour range, and I think this one is a great match for my fair skin.

I needed a new eyeliner and have heard great things about this one, so I thought I would pick it up.

At first I found it quite hard to work with, I'm used to using a dip- in liner , technical term there ;) which is kind of ironic considering their famously harder to use, but after a bit of practice I've become  fine with this and actually really like it.

One thing I knew I wanted to buy were some Rimmel Acpocalips!

I chose the shades `Big bang` , `Apocaliptic` and `Celestial` and I have to say they defiantly live up to the hype :)

I also picked up a Balmi, which happened to be half price! while this was great, it did mean they only had the peppermint one left, however, I actually really like the flavour!

The last thing that managed to find its way into my basket in Boots was this Rimmel Scandaleyes eye shadow stick:

I was just drawn to they colour :) the Balmi wasn't actually on the 3 for 2, so when the lady told me I could still have one thing for free, I dashed back to get this! I love the consistency and it's really easy to use :)

In Superdrug, I bought a new red lip liner (thrilling stuff!) and the new MUA undressed palette.

There's not much to say about this, I just needed this!

As I think I have mentioned before, I'm trying to get a bit more creative with my eyes, I want do do more than just my eyeliner! so I thought this would be a good way to play around with some eye shadow, and for four ponds, whats not to like!

We also went into international, where I bought this gorgeous denim look skater skirt

This is actually from the kids bit because the adult one looked weird!  I actually wore this today for my first day back at school :) (OOTD to come!)

The last thing I bought on this trip was this really cute hair bow

I cant wait to wear this at the back of a messy bun, just to make it a bit more interesting :)

I also went shopping another time, (I know, addicted) mainly to go to Primark because there isn't really one close to wear I live, so when ever I go it becomes a bit of a trip :p

I'll start from the top :)
One basic thing I bought were these `shoe liners`

Not hugely exciting, but I needed them :) I do like the colours though, theses are just what I like to wear under short Converse and Vans.

As these are £1 for two (I will never get over that!) I always pick these up. I like to use them to take of my facial make up before actually cleansing :).

I popped these into my basket as my other eyelash curlers have lost their spring, and for a pound, you cant go wrong :)

Next up, hairbands! I like the Primark ones because a) their crazy cheap and b) they don't have the metal bit which can damage your hair.

Unusually for me, I didn't actually see that much jewelry that I liked, but I did pick up some earrings :)
Firstly, these gorgeous arrow head style ones. I'm not usually a big fan of drop earrings, but I love these, also, they were just a pound! I think these also look a bit Topshop.

The other pair are these simple oval studs, there just simple, but I rather like them :)

I think Primark is the perfect place for me to buy sunglasses, I'm sure if I bought an expensive pair I would end up breaking or loosing them! Anyway, when I saw these I feel in love a little, as you may have realised from reading my blog, I adore anything vintagey! so of course these appealed to me :)

One of the items of clothing I picked up is the gorgeous peplum top! look at the print! My mum actually saw this and said she new I was going to pick it up :)

Another top I spied is this sporty style crop, I love the sort of see through material and the motif :)

I also bought this simple top for school, bit boring, but I do like the colour :)

Another crop top?! I seem to be slightly addicted :) I love the cute Disney print on this one. I like that the bottom of it is actually finished as well! often I find crop tops are left un-hemmed and start to fray really easily (I'm looking at you Topshop!)

Lastly from Primark, my Mum kindly bought me some new PJ's :) I think I'm defo going to have to wait for summer to wear these, but I can't wait too!

We popped into new look as well, and I saw that they were selling these t-shirts for £5 instead of £7.99, so I thought I would bag my self a bit of a bargin! I love the blue colour and the grey will go with everything.

And last but not least, I bought theses cuter than cute socks from River Island :) They are going to look so sweet  with my new converse :)

Few, that was a long post! thank you if you read this far! I think I can safely say, that's it for a while and my bank balance officially hates me :)

What have you bought recently? What do you think of my purchases?
