Wishlist: New Look skirts.

Hi everyone,
I was recently approached by New Look to work with them by blogging about either day dresses, maxi dresses or skirts. If you know me, you will know that I am a huge lover of a skirt or two, so no prizes for guessing what I chose!
I have compiled a wish list of my favourite skirts currently in store which I think are just perfect for autumn :) but New look have so many gorgeous skirts at the moment so check them out!

1. Ah this skirt reminds me of clueless so much! I can just see Cher walking around the `mall` going `As if!` keeping it 90's style, I would pair this with a cosy jumper with a peter pan collared shirt, some knee high socks and cute Mary Jane flats.

2. A skater skirt is a staple in anyone wardrobe, and this burgundy one is perfect for autumn. They also have this in lots of other colours like my favourite bottle green :)

3. This is one of my favourites out of the six, tapestry always tugs at my heart strings! I love the rich, luxurious feel it has and this one is so pretty. I feel like this would be a timeless item and will always be fashionable.

4. Velvet has been everywhere this season, this black skirt is a good way to jazz up a simple black skater and it would be perfect if your planning a witchy outfit come Halloween!

5. Tartan is also a winner for autumn, you cant beat channeling a Scot/school girl!

6. Finally is this gorgeous midi; leather has had a bit of a revival in the skirt department lately and this one is a steal and although it's not actual leather it definitely looks the part.  I would wear this with a fluffy jumper, that look was a staple at LFW this year!

I'm going to London today to see my little cousins and generally enjoy the city, should be fun! I went shopping yesterday so let we know if you would like to see a makeup haul :)

What skirts are you loving at the moment? Which is your favourite from above?

Say you're sorry that face of an angel.

OOTD #17

Hello everyone! This is what I'm wearing today, wishing I was at Glastonbury but actually stuck at home writing a History essay. Boo.

Earrings- Accessorize
Hair bow- International
Top- H&M
Cami- New look
Skirt- Miss Selfridge
Watch- Olivia Burton
Bracelets- DIY/Topshop
Sandals- Brantano

I love this top! I've been meaning to show it to you guys properly for a while now, so feast your eyes! It's such a pretty lilac and makes me feel so summery. Speaking of summer, where on earth is it! It's the end of June and I'm still having to layer up, today is the only day I've been comfortable enough (not dieing of cold) to not wear tights. So weather, sort yourself out please. Anyway! If I was going to Glasto, I think this little swing topnwould be perfect *sobs because it looks so amazing*

I decided to wear my `biscuit` earrings (that's what one of my friends likes to call them anyway!) as I thought they look nice when I have my hair up, which takes me on to another accessory...

My hair bow! Oh how I love this little clip, I think it just makes a simple messy bun a lot more interesting and so damn cute!

Sorry it's  wonky!

I also added these little bracelets to my ensemble;

I made the rainbow one ages ago but I still love it, it just adds a bit of colour ya know? I also popped my little charmy bracelet on to keep with the festival vibel.

I also had my watch on as ever :)

I painted my nails last night with one of my favourite colours, it's one of the maybeillne colour show polishes in `Urban coral` and I blumin' love it! It looks really orange in these pictures but its much more pink, its so nice! *looks down and admires nails for a minute*

I thought I would whip out the old gladiator sandals for this look as well, I've had these for ages and I'm sure they will see me through another summer!

Of course I had to do my toes to match as well!

I hope your all having a lovely Saturday :) The other half of my haul will be up tomorrow so look out for that!

What do you think of my outfit? Are you as fed up with the weather as I am?

We're spinning on our heels, so far away from real.

OOTD #13

It's OOTD time, and were back outside *yay!*

Earrings- River island
Bralet-Primark
Skirt- Internationale
Watch- Olivia Burton
Bracelet- Topshop/ DIY
Tights- Tesco
Converse- Office

Sorry I've been wearing so many skirts recently! They are definitely what I'm really loving right now! I wore this go go for a little shop with my sister, but I also practically wore this for my friends birthday meal last week :)

I wanted to wear this little bralet as soon as I bought it, it's just SO pretty!

I totally love the vintagey floral print and the colours are just perfect to me! Considering this was only six great British pounds, it was a total bargain!

My earrings matched the cutesy vintage theme I was going for as well!

As did my watch :)

I wore this little bracelet as well;

I think the little charms are so sweet, and I love adding dainty little pieces like this to any outfit, so I'll probably be wearing this a lot more!

I painted my nails with my new fave shade, maybelline's `Mint for life`

I thought my converses went really well with this ensemble, to be honest., what don't they go with ?!

This is actually the first time I have worn my only Mac lippie in an OOTD (!), so here it is! It's in the shade Pink nouveau.

I recently noticed that I have hit 33 followers on Bloglovin! Thank you so much guys, I cannot tell you how much every follower means <3 So my next target is 40 and I will almost certainly do a giveaway when I hit 50 :)

What do you think of my outfit? Are you a fan of vintage inspiration?

Putting my defenses up, because I don't want to fall in love.

OOTD #12

Hi dolls,
This is what I wore on Thursday to watch the Great Gatsby (amazing film!). I really wish I had a flapper dress, dripping with embellishment and jewels to wear, and a cute cloche hat to effortlessly throw on, but sadly, my 21st century wardrobe let me down *sigh*. So I just had to make do with what I know best; a crop top and skater skirt!

 Earrings-Miss selfridge
Crop top- Primark
Necklace-Accessorize
Watch- Olivia Burton
Skirt- Primark
Tights- Tesco
Nike Blazers- Office

This outfit is buy no means groundbreaking, but I really like the overall look :)

This is definitely my new favourite necklace, its just perfect for jazzing up plain tops and popping undershirts to peak out of the collar.

I wanted a change from my converses for this outfit (shock horror!), do I decided to wear my Nike blazers, as I thought the khaki would complement the purple on my lips and my skirt nicely, and just make everything a bit more casual :)

Obviously, this wouldn't be one of my outfits without my beloved Olivia Burton watch :).

My nails didn't really go with my outfit which bugs me (yup I'm weird like that) but I really like them none the less. I used a new Maybelline shade from the color show collection (that's the milky pink shade) and Look beauty polish in `Bling` for the glitter :)

My make up was actually pretty experimental for me! Notice the lack of winged-liner? ;) I used my favourite scadaleyes shadow stick in Bulletproof beige and the MUA undress me too pallet on my eyes, of course with a generous flick of mascara. I also applied a slick of an MUA lipstcik in the shade 2, I really wish it had a name!

My OOTD's will be outside again once the weather perks up (famous last words...) so I hope you don't mind my bedroom in the background!

The Great Gatsby was such an amazing film; the acting was perfect, the music wonderful and the costumes literally to die for! If you are stuck for something to do next weekend for whenever, go and see it!

In other news, it was my first day back at school today *boo* so I wont be able to post as frequently this week, but I will try my very best!

Have you seen the Great Gatsby? What do you think of my outfit?

You always take it further than I ever can.

OOTD #11

Hi everyone, operation OOTD had to be moved inside for this one, whatever happened to that lovely sun?!
So basically, I had an interview on Tuesday for my work experience, which didn't actually end up happening, so that was quite annoying, but I still like what I wore!

Shirt- River island
Skirt-Miss selfridge
Tights-Tesco
Shoes-M&S

I bought this shirt in the Christmas sales last year because I just couldn't resist the sweet print, look at it!

How cute are the little cats?! I also adore the pale blue colour and the detail on the collar. I think it's nice and smart without being dull :)This skirt is a really essential in my wardrobe, I couldn't live without it!

Of course my watch was also firmly on my wrist!

My make up was pretty standard for me, I didn't want to go two over the top. My eyes look weirdly green in this picture as well :p.

Although this trip was a bit wasted on the whole interview front, I did buy a few make up bits and I found some shoes for the wedding, all of which will be revealed later on in the week :)

What do you think of my outfit?

Tell me that you've had enough of our love.

OOTD #6
Another outfit post for you lovely lot today :) This is what I wore for my first day back at school (mines non-uniform)

 Jacket-Asos
T-shirt- Topshop
Belt- H&M
Skirt- International
Tights- Tesco
Converse- Office

I had been wanting a denim style skater skirt for quite a while and I was so pleased when I picked this one up! It's a really lovely shade of blue (cornflower I would say) and I think really suits my complexion. It's not actually denim, but a really soft jersey material, I think if it was real denim I would run the risk of looking a bit  cowgirl!

I bought this t-shirt a little while ago but I just love the colour! It also has little speckles of blue, green, orange and more red running through it, which makes it a bit for interesting that just a plain top.

I told you you would be seeing my converse! These shoes are officially my babies at the moment, I'm going to try my hardest to keep they white... I think they look really cute with skirts and add a more casual spin to this outfit.

I just have my usual jewelry on, My mum's gold twisty necklace and my miss selfridge pyramid earrings  I'm sure you don't want to see yet another picture of them!

Of course, I'm also wearing my watch!

What do you think of my outfit? How was your first day back at school?

Haul!

Seen as we have just had the Easter holiday, it means I've had plenty of time to shop! I have had Birthday money and have been saving up for about two months in order to go on  a bit of a spree, so this is what I have bought recently :)

On this trip I really wanted to buy some new clothes, but not much really caught my eye. However, as you  can see, I did much better in Boots and Superdrug!

Let me start with my new Converse :)

I had been wanting these for quite some time and have already worn them so much! They are pretty expensive for a pair of canvas shoes, but I personally think they are worth it as you get really do get great quality.I have a feeling these are going to be in a lot of OOTD's soon!

I also made some Mac purchases :) (my first can you believe it!) my lovely Lauren got me a Mac voucher for my birthday, which you can imagine went down pretty well!

I deiced to get a lipstick in the shade `Pink nouveau`

I love this colour so much! it's a perfect bubblegum pink, with out being too `in your face` I think this is going to look so gorgeous with so many colours, particularly white in the summer :)

I also picked up the much raved about `Fix +` to try

I've been really enjoying spritzing this onto my skin before applying my make up lately, and after if I'm looking a bit powdery :)

Boots had a 3 for 2 on (never good if your trying not to spend to much!) so I picked up some things I've been wanting for a while.

I recently ran out of my beloved Health mix foundation but fancied a bit of a change...

Step up Rimmel match perfection! This foundation is really good! I was dithering between this and the `Wake me up` one, but seen as I'm not really into foundation with a glowy/ dewy finish, I went for this, and I have to say I've been really loving it :) I found they also had a wide colour range, and I think this one is a great match for my fair skin.

I needed a new eyeliner and have heard great things about this one, so I thought I would pick it up.

At first I found it quite hard to work with, I'm used to using a dip- in liner , technical term there ;) which is kind of ironic considering their famously harder to use, but after a bit of practice I've become  fine with this and actually really like it.

One thing I knew I wanted to buy were some Rimmel Acpocalips!

I chose the shades `Big bang` , `Apocaliptic` and `Celestial` and I have to say they defiantly live up to the hype :)

I also picked up a Balmi, which happened to be half price! while this was great, it did mean they only had the peppermint one left, however, I actually really like the flavour!

The last thing that managed to find its way into my basket in Boots was this Rimmel Scandaleyes eye shadow stick:

I was just drawn to they colour :) the Balmi wasn't actually on the 3 for 2, so when the lady told me I could still have one thing for free, I dashed back to get this! I love the consistency and it's really easy to use :)

In Superdrug, I bought a new red lip liner (thrilling stuff!) and the new MUA undressed palette.

There's not much to say about this, I just needed this!

As I think I have mentioned before, I'm trying to get a bit more creative with my eyes, I want do do more than just my eyeliner! so I thought this would be a good way to play around with some eye shadow, and for four ponds, whats not to like!

We also went into international, where I bought this gorgeous denim look skater skirt

This is actually from the kids bit because the adult one looked weird!  I actually wore this today for my first day back at school :) (OOTD to come!)

The last thing I bought on this trip was this really cute hair bow

I cant wait to wear this at the back of a messy bun, just to make it a bit more interesting :)

I also went shopping another time, (I know, addicted) mainly to go to Primark because there isn't really one close to wear I live, so when ever I go it becomes a bit of a trip :p

I'll start from the top :)
One basic thing I bought were these `shoe liners`

Not hugely exciting, but I needed them :) I do like the colours though, theses are just what I like to wear under short Converse and Vans.

As these are £1 for two (I will never get over that!) I always pick these up. I like to use them to take of my facial make up before actually cleansing :).

I popped these into my basket as my other eyelash curlers have lost their spring, and for a pound, you cant go wrong :)

Next up, hairbands! I like the Primark ones because a) their crazy cheap and b) they don't have the metal bit which can damage your hair.

Unusually for me, I didn't actually see that much jewelry that I liked, but I did pick up some earrings :)
Firstly, these gorgeous arrow head style ones. I'm not usually a big fan of drop earrings, but I love these, also, they were just a pound! I think these also look a bit Topshop.

The other pair are these simple oval studs, there just simple, but I rather like them :)

I think Primark is the perfect place for me to buy sunglasses, I'm sure if I bought an expensive pair I would end up breaking or loosing them! Anyway, when I saw these I feel in love a little, as you may have realised from reading my blog, I adore anything vintagey! so of course these appealed to me :)

One of the items of clothing I picked up is the gorgeous peplum top! look at the print! My mum actually saw this and said she new I was going to pick it up :)

Another top I spied is this sporty style crop, I love the sort of see through material and the motif :)

I also bought this simple top for school, bit boring, but I do like the colour :)

Another crop top?! I seem to be slightly addicted :) I love the cute Disney print on this one. I like that the bottom of it is actually finished as well! often I find crop tops are left un-hemmed and start to fray really easily (I'm looking at you Topshop!)

Lastly from Primark, my Mum kindly bought me some new PJ's :) I think I'm defo going to have to wait for summer to wear these, but I can't wait too!

We popped into new look as well, and I saw that they were selling these t-shirts for £5 instead of £7.99, so I thought I would bag my self a bit of a bargin! I love the blue colour and the grey will go with everything.

And last but not least, I bought theses cuter than cute socks from River Island :) They are going to look so sweet  with my new converse :)

Few, that was a long post! thank you if you read this far! I think I can safely say, that's it for a while and my bank balance officially hates me :)

What have you bought recently? What do you think of my purchases?
