Review: Firmoo glasses

Hello everyone,
This review has been a very long time coming! The wonderful Firmoo team contacted me some time ago and have been so patient waiting for me which I appreciate so much. They kindly sent me a pair of glasses to review and I can hand on heart say I love them! I was a little cautious about ordering prescription glasses online, but the lenses are perfect and I love the style.

Firmoo glasses*

They fit so well and are perfect for my dodgy distance vision! I love the bold style and they are quite different to my other frames so they give me some variety. They are super light  and feel really durable. Also, how nice is that case? It was such a lovely addition to this pair and keeps them in the best condition. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Firmoo to anyone, their site is so easy to use, the team are so helpful and the quality of the products is great! Next time I'm in need of a pair I will be browsing their site I'm sure. They also have a gorgous range of sunglasses which I am very tempted by!

What do you think of these frames? Have you ever ordered from Firmoo

Charity shop finds #3 (and where I've been!)

Hello everyone, remember me?
It's been over two months since my last blog post. I never intended to take a break, but February was a tricky month as I was ill and I had lots of family stuff going on, and March has flow by so quickly I simply haven't have the time, with English coursework, French mocks and work keeping me busy. However since it's the Easter break and I've missed blogging so much I'm vowing to get back into the swing of things!

Yesterday my Mum, Sister and myself went out for some lunch and did a bit of charity shopping in Stony Stratford. I can't tell you how nice it was to have break from revision and going into work! I find thrifting can be really hit and miss, I'll either see nothing at all and have a bit of a waisted trip, or come home with loads, and this time was definitely the later!

£3.99

One thing I picked up was the navy, red and cream striped top. I am a stripe addict so this caught my eye straight away! Its Zara so is super soft and feels like really nice quality. It's a large so has a cosy over-sized fit.

£1.50

This H&M top was only £1.50! As I said, huge lover of stripes so for a such a low price I couldn't really leave this. It's again a slouchy fit on me which I love, perfect for sixth form and I already know what I'm going to wear this with so look out for an outfit post!

£3.00

I thought thought this goregous crochet cami would be lovely for the summer moths. I really like the dainty straps and I feel like I'll get so much wear out of it when the weather warms up.

£2.75

I love the simplicity of this top, it's something I feel Audrey Hepburn would have totally rocked. I'll wear it tucked into skirts and anything highwaisted.

£5.99

This was technically not my purchase but I have to share the jacket my sister bought! It looks so smart and the nicest length. I wish it wasn't so huge on me or I would be stealing it 24/7!

£3.00

I think this skirt has to be my favourite purchase. It's vintage so has that lovely '50s shape, so super flattering on the waist. The combination of colours and the pinstripe design make me so so excited to wear it for a stroll along the beach!

£1

One little trinket I found was this adorable metal elephant, It looks so cute on my window sill next to another one I have.

£5

Finally is this mason jar glass, not actually from a charity shop, but I though I would include it here anyway. It's the most adorable design which I'm sure will encourage me to keep my water intake up!

So that's what I found! A pretty successful trip I would say.
It's my birthday next week (17!) so I have lots of fun things planned, as well as a stack of revision bigger than me to get done, so I will do my best to keep posting. I have honestly missed blogging so much, how are you all?! Do let me know if there are any specific posts you would like to see :)

What have you been up to lately? Are you a fan of charity shopping?

When Alice did Paris: La Tour Eiffel and river tour.

Hello everyone,
Now I know I went to Paris way back in October, but I don't want to not share a few images with you!

We visited the Eiffel Tower, clearly a very touristy choice, but me and my sister both wanted to go up. It is actually smaller than I though it would be, it looks so cute poking out of Paris's skyline! I was an amazing way to see Paris, you really do appreciate the size of it from up high.

We also went on a river tour this day, I wasn't sure what to expect but it was lovely! The sun was shining and I was sat in my dress feeling warm, it was honestly blissful. We went past the musee d'orsay, Notre Dame cathedral and the Pont des Art, all places I would not have seen otherwise.

I often daydream about being back in this beautiful city, hopefully it wont bee too long!

Have you been up the Eiffel Tower? Are you in love with Paris?

You're missing what is right before your eyes.

OOTD#62

Hello everyone,
This is a super simple sixth form outfit from a week or so ago that I ended up really liking. It's nothing special but comfy and warm. Please excuse my resemblance to a ghost, no idea what happened with the exposure!

Coat- New Look
Jumper- New look
Jeans- Topshop
Loafers- Office

I've never actually featured my coat on here somehow, (despite having worn it pretty much everyday for a while!) but I love it. It is really warm and very practical (which is rare for me) I like the slightly over-sized fit and it goes with everything. This jumper has been another staple in my wardrobe lately, I've been loving anything high necked and this one is so soft. I got these jeans for Christmas, the Topshop Jonis, in a really lovely blue. They are a darker wash than my other pair, but are also seem brighter somehow, so are a welcome pop of colour for winter outfits. Finally is one of my favourite pairs of shoes ever! They are called Extravaganza and fit me like a dream. They are super soft leather despite having a patent finish, and would you look at that colour! I've got my eye on the rose gold as well...

What do you think of this simple outfit? What do you wear for sixth form?
